Training for the competition had started in earnest, and it was all I thought about every day before the final day. Fortunately for us, due to the forthcoming competition, all slaves were relieved of their daily duties temporarily and had to focus on the competition. Jasper, Lira, and I were all participating, so within the period of training, we didn’t see very often, as we had different training schedules and different training coaches.
I was so tired after every training session. I gave my all, my everything, and the energy I expended left me a little subconscious at times. It was a very challenging period for me and I had my eyes on the price. The idea of winning the competition and getting to leave if I win was so glorious.
It was the best news I had gotten ever since I got there. B
