I took a stroll down to my family’s house all by myself. Although I had gotten back to my normal living ways and reunited with everyone I left behind, the absence of my parents was something that left a hole in my inside. I could never come to terms with it. I walked onto the porch and took a good around. It was still looking good. Not so much seemed to have changed since I left.
