“Babe, I want to marry you now. Like right now!” he screamed, turning my face toward his.
“Wow! Okay. I want to marry you now too,” I replied excitedly.
“Close your eyes, babe,” he said.
“Okay. Clint, what’s happening? What are you doing? You know that I do not like surprises,” I replied, feeling quite anxious.
“It’s okay baby. Just chill. You’ll be fine. If it makes you feel any better, it’s not what you’re thinking right now. It’s nothing big,” he continued, checking if my eyes were open.
“Okay. I’m fine then. Carry on,” I replied.
“Good! Any moment from now,” he said.
I noticed he was moving about, trying to get some things arranged. I could sense that he was anxious, too. But what could he be up to? I thought.
