“You, take that up!” a guard ordered.
“Now, take that down!” another guard barked.
It was a very busy day, as expected, with orders flying around everywhere. A lot of preparations were being made for the feast that was just a day away. The sun was blazing hot and I couldn’t feel my legs anymore. I was moving from place to place , carrying items and delivering flowers. I was so busy that I couldn’t even take breaks to rest from the tedious duties I was performing. I became hungry and very thirsty altogether but I longed more for a way to quench my thirst.
“This heat could be used to boil water. Heck, it could even start a fire and burn down a forest. I feel I need a break, more so, I need water,” I wailed.
