“No! No! No!” I screamed, moving from one side of the bed to the other.
I opened my eyes, and I discovered that it was just a dream, a nightmare at that, and I was greatly relieved. I heard a faint knock on my door.
“Who’s there?” I asked, feeling a little frightened.
“It’s Clint. I’m sorry if I startled you. I could hear your screams in my sleep. I’m here to check up on you. May I come in?” Clint said.
“It’s locked. I’ll get it opened in a jiffy. Hold on,” I said, as I got up from the bed and went over to the door to unlock it.
