Damn, my bones ached, every single one of them. I used the back of my palms to feel my neck. It was burning. I mean, I was burning, my whole body was on fire. I was feeling feverish. I tried to stretch my body in the cell. I was so weak.
“Hey!! Get up, he wants to see you,” a guard said while banging the door of my cell.
I stood up, and he opened the door and I followed through. I followed the guard out of my cell and he lead me to another room. I walked into the room. I was shivering. I hugged myself tightly. The guard stood at the door. I looked up, and I saw Alpha Clint at the other end of the room. He was looking out the window.
“Leave us,” he said.
The guard bowed and closed the door. I stood at my spot looking like my feet were frozen or maybe like I was glued to that spot.
