I looked at my 13-year-old self lie on the floor of my room. My legs were hanging on my bed and my dress fell down to my abdomen, thus exposing my laps. My black hair, just like my father’s, was spread on the floor. I stared at the ceiling of my room. I was bored to the core. There was literally nothing to do. I was done helping mum with some work at our little garden at the back of our house. My dad was not around at the moment. He had gone for training with members of the pack he led.
