I’ve felt it for day. That prickle on the back of my neck. That whisper in the trees. That sense, deep in my familiar bones, that someone is watching me. At first, I thought it was just nerves. Raven’s visions have been getting stronger, clearer, sharper. Every night I see what she sees, Drake tied somewhere dark, hurt, scared, calling for help. And every morning, I pretend I’m fine. But I’m not. I can’t take it anymore. Raven is trying so hard to stay calm, to train, to breathe through the truth she just learned. She doesn’t need my panic on top of everything else.
