"Eric, Eric.." Liam called out to his friend tapping heavily on his shoulders

"What is it Buddy stop hitting me like am some kid dude, Chill am right here, what is it?"

"I found my mate"

"Oh come on don't joke around with something as serious as that"

"I am serious, she just walked past me, she is my mate"

"Whoa!! Are you serious?"

Alpha liam let's out a low growl cause Eric was having a hard time believing him.

"Chill okay, where is she then?"

"I just saw her with some guy a while back"

"Some guy, huh... Fine let's put that guy in his place"

They went in search of them the crowd was not helping matters.

Gabe and Clara were busy drinking, and having the time of their lives and catching up to most of the things they were yet to discuss.

"Gabe you've really grown so much look at your muscles" Clara said touching his bulging biceps.

"Stop being all over them like they are that huge"

"But they are you see, actually yours is the largest I have ever seen."

Unknown to them Alpha Liam was way behind them and he was getting irritated at the fact that some random guy was sitting with his mate.

"Whoa!! Whoa!! Take a chill pill dude. We all know alphas can be overbearing when it comes to such things. But calm down will you? If she is truly your mate she'll be yours. Let's just calm down and watch her" Eric said and liam just nodded cause he is speechless right now.

ALPHA LIAM'S POV

I was teasing Eric and we were laughing after which we began drinking, when my body started feeling strange all of a sudden. I have never felt that way before, its like a part of me was somewhere close by. I can't even explain it. It's more like a force drawing me closer to a particular person. My wolf self was feeling uneasy by each second.

And then it started talking, my wolf cole is a wolf of few words he hardly says a word even when my parents died he didn't say a word of comfort to me but here he was talking and talking nonstop about a mate wandering around, my mate.

But then there she is sitting and laughing with another guy. I mean I am trying my hardest to control myself but I can't do that.

I can't have her giggling for someone else asides me okay.

"Eric, I can't control this, they better leave or I may lose myself"

"Dude, you better keep it in we are in an enemy's territory"

"I don't care I will tear them all apart"

"I know you can do that all on your own, but we'll risk being caught by the humans, is your jealousy worth some m*********r? They could both just be friends"

"Just look at them, how can friends be this intimate? Its getting me pissed off" Liam said through gritted teeth.

"Liam if you disrupt them like that, you may push her farther away from you" Eric said

"Okay Cole, let's calm down" Liam said to his wolf self and it just shrinked inside of him

"What do you suggest regarding this matter?" Liam asked

"When they walk out you can just bump into them or something, do your trick make her fall in love with you, if she is your mate she will be yours no matter how long it takes keep that in mind."

"Okay Buddy"

"Its almost midnight we best be on our way so we can get home early, what do you think?'' Gabe suggested

"I guess we should"

They held onto each other then stood up and was about to leave the party when someone bumped into Clara.

"I am so so sorry, I didn't see you there"

"No it's fine. Am good" Clara said and then she looked up to see the face of the one who had bumped into her.

It was a cute face. Short dark hair. A dashing young man.

"Okay thanks, sorry once again" With that said Liam excused himself and left so as not too seem too forward.

Gabe and Clara went to the car and they drove off, while Liam and Eric followed closely behind.

Liam wanted to know more about her, like her home and her specie, any details he can get.

So he can keep an eye on her.

When they (Gabe and Clara) got home he walked her to her doorstep

"Hey, the party was fun, I had lots of fun" Clara said while smiling sheepishly

"I had lots of fun as well with you"

After which they both hugged affectionately and Gabe drove home.

Seeing them hug each other made his blood boil, but he can't do anything about that after all he is yet to claim her.

So he had no choice but to put up with it and try to find a way to be a part of her life now.

Clara went inside and went straight to her room she switched on the light so she could change into her pyjamas.

This gesture made Liam know where her room was and this made him happy.

After changing Clara went straight to bed not knowing she was being watched by an Alpha of a pack.

Eric then reminded Liam that they've both been gone from their pack for far too long.

So they both changed into their wolf self and ran as fast as possible back home.
