'How do I come up with that huge amount of money in such a short time? I can't let him die from this. Who can I go to for help that wouldn't mock me? My friends have all distance themselves from me just because my husband lost his job 7 months ago. All because I will no longer have any promising source of funds that I would splash on them. Anyways by hook or by crook I will get that money no matter what.

But then again I can't even sell our car. What do I do to get out of this?' Thoughts like this filled Mrs Cooper's head as soon as she woke up to see her husband beside her barely clinging on to life all because they were out of funds.

She just needed to do something drastically else she would be a widow before she turns 45 which is something she doesn't want. Her so called friends and fellow woman will mock her even more.

She just couldn't get her finger around it. So she stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom with hopes that something will click and lead her to a huge pile of money soon.

How do I get that boy hoarding around her like a pest away from her side?

I need to get more advice from Eric, he seems to know more about things like this.'

While thinking Eric walked in with an important issue that there is a dispute between two siblings from the pack.

"Liam there is a serious issue, right now two siblings are having a very serious argument. You need to be there to stop this cause I've tried but its not yielding any result"

Liam's mind was not even there, it was far off away.

"Liam, Li....a..m.." Eric shouted at the top of his voice until Liam came back from his thoughts.

"So all what I have been saying you haven't been listening? What could be so important to make you become deaf?"

"Eric, how do I get her?"

"Get who huh?" Eric asked feeling confused.

"My mate"

"Ahah... So you are thinking about her to the point you didn't hear any of today's report?"

"What's happening to the pack?"

"Oh suddenly you are interested? Anyways there is a serious argument going on in the pack"

"What sort of arguments?"

"I think you should listen to this one yourself"

Alpha Liam then activated his hearing.

"Lisa I told you the Alpha is mine, not yours" Linda said

"Who says? Just because you are my twin doesn't mean you get to claim him for yourself." Lisa said

"I fell in love with him first, go find someone else" Linda replied

"Oh really? Well I love him" Lisa said

I will really hurt you Lisa I don't care if you are my twin or not, I will really hurt you don't test my patience"

"Try hurting me, I won't back down from you, I am not afraid of you Linda"

Liam couldn't take it anymore, so he roared out loudly everyone in the pack heard his voice and calmed down.

He phased to the spot and said

"You both quit your unnecessary bickering"

"But Alpha, I was in love with you first" Linda said not even scared that the Alpha might take offense from her words.

"Shut your mouth" Liam roared

She kept quiet, not wanting to ruin her chances

Liam continued,

"In my pack there is need for peace if something like this happens again you will both face the consequences of banishment. This goes to the rest of you (pack) is that clear?"

"Yes Alpha" everyone chorused in unison

"But Alpha am truly in love with you" Linda said once again

"I thought I asked you to shut your tramp? Anyways sorry to burst your bubble but you aren't my mate, someone else is"

"What?" This revelation had angered her

He turned to leave and she fell and held onto his legs

"Alpha no, I love you"

She was irritating him now that he roared

"Get back into your homes right now. Everyone of you"

And so everyone ran into their homes.

Some were glad that the Alpha has found his mate.

While others like Linda who are in love with him secretly were angry.

Liam walked into his room feeling angry from what had happened earlier.

"Okay take a deep breath" his beta said.

"Still thinking about what those two just did in the public" Liam said

"Its called love" Eric said

"Speaking of love, I need to claim my mate, but how do I do that?"

"First of all you are to make lots of appearances to her, get her to trust you, and see you as a friend"

"The thing is isn't she supposed to know am her mate? Thought that's how these things work?"

Eric sighs and then said

"Liam my friend and buddy, such will only happen if she is one of us and have activated her inner wolf, only then will she be drawn easily to you, but if she hasn't activated her inner wolf, or if she is not one of us it is very unlikely that she would be drawn to you at first sight"

"Hmm how come you know about these things and you aren't mated yet?"

"Because I am not sure I have a mate and I am not interested in girls at the moment. My job is being your beta, taking care of the pack and being there for you when I am summoned"

"I better get on with being acquainted with her then, take care of the pack until I get back"

"Oh one more thing, if she isn't one of us, don't scare her off"

"Why would I scare my mate off?"

"Oh lord, if she isn't one of us, you calling her mate is a weird and bad move to take. Also don't show her your wolf self, she may not know of our existence yet. So don't scare her off else it would be impossible to win her over so easily"

"Okay I won't"

"Also be mild, loving and caring, girls love those kinds of things from guys. Try to act natural"

"Fine, can I go now?"

"Yeah but..."

"But what?" Liam sounding impatient

"Be Safe, if you feel you are in danger. Call on me no matter how far it is I will find you"

"Thank you buddy, what would I do without you?"

"Truth be told, nothing"

They both hugged and bid each other bye, after which alpha liam sped off. Leaving only his beta in charge of the pack until he comes back.
