"Honey, are you not going to sleep?" Aria is asking Fortune, who seems bothered.
"Mom, I want to sleep beside you," he said softly.
"You can, but how about your brothers? Don't you like to sleep with them?" she said, trying to get his valid reasons why he wasn't staying with Charm and Lucky.
"I wanted to, but I feel like someone's eyes are on me. I am afraid, Mom," Fortune admitted his real feelings.
"How often do you feel this?" Aria continued.
I was having bad feelings before I was confined to the hospital. I feel like I am always sick. I can see and hear strange things. "I don't know," Fortune told his mother.
"Why are you not telling me about this the first time?" Aria asked.
"Because I wasn't sure. Are you seeing and hearing them too?" Fortune was intrigued by his mother's reaction.
"I will sleep in your room with all of you. So you do not have to be concerned because Mom will stay with you all night long," Aria decided.
A happy face has bloomed on the kid's face.
"Thanks, Mom, you are the best!" he said.
They have arranged the bed altogether before bedtime.
"Everyone, it's dinner time. The Head Master is waiting for you in the dining room," Selda announced.
"We will be there," Aria answered.
"Madam, what are you doing?" Selda asked Aria when she noticed that she was fixing their bed arrangement.
"I am going to sleep with the boys," she said happily.
"Aren't they too old to request your presence?" Selda replied, intrigued that something was happening.
"No, this is a special request from Fortune. He wanted to sleep with me, and I am granting his request," she explained.
"Alright, please do not let the Head Master wait any longer." She reminded Aria that the food was ready.
"I will be there in a minute," she said.
She decided to finish it later rather than be scolded by Alexander for allowing him to wait in front of the food.
"What took you so long?" Alexander asked, looking unhappy.
"Sorry, I was just fixing some things in the kid's room," she explained.
Keila and the kids are already starving, and so is the headmaster.
"How important was that thing and you forgot about the dinner?" Keila interrupted.
"Mom is staying with us tonight, and she was fixing the bed, Auntie!" Fortune reasoned out.
"Why can't you sleep alone in the room?" Keila asked.
"We can, but we wanted Mom's presence so we wouldn't be scared at night," Fortune explained to Keila.
"Who is frightening you?" Keila is interrogating the triplets.
"Maybe due to their wild imagination, that is why they are feeling or seeing something that isn't normal," Aria butted in.
"Like?" Keila insists.
"I am seeing shadows and hearing noises that are hard to describe, but I know they are bad," Fortune expressed himself.
"It wasn't true, those are just the result of your imagination and what you have seen on TV. We can't prohibit that from kids like you," Alexander said.
Nobody dared to contradict what the Head Master stated.
"We better dine now and stop spreading stories that are not true. It won't help us in any way," Alexander blurted out.
They silently enjoy their dinner.
"Kids, come to my room. I have presents for you all!" Alexander announces after filling up their hungry stomachs.
The kids were very excited and ran to the headmaster's room. Aria followed them to witness what was about to happen.
"Aria, come on in!" Alexander called her out.
She slowly walks to the room. It was her only chance to have a view of the Head Master's huge bedroom. It was spacious and its size was as big as an ordinary house for a normal person. He has his own shower and comfort room, a lounge, a terrace, a bar inside his room, a working table, and a king-size bed. It is way more beautiful than their rooms.
"Do you enjoy the view?" Alexander asked.
"Absolutely!" she agreed.
"See what I have here," he told her as he presented the large boxes.
There are three large boxes, and all of them are for the triplets. She felt it was very important that her kids enjoy this moment with their grandfather. She never had this chance when she was a kid.
"It is not Christmas yet that you started to give gifts. What is the occasion?" Aria said.
"Nothing! I just love to!" he answered happily and let the kids open their boxes.
They have their names on each of them.
"I highly appreciate everything, Dad! I hope you do not spoil them," she said.
"I don't do this all the time," he insists.
He was right. The kids are turning four, and this is the first gift in the large box they receive.
"Wow!" the triplets shouted in chorus.
They are so jolly with the gifts they got from their grandfather. In return, they gave him a super tight hug and so many kisses that tickled the old Moreau.
"Enough! You are killing me," he said, laughing, almost losing some air.
They receive different gifts according to their tastes and wishes. Fortune received a big car and a basketball toy set, Lucky received a big play station, and Charm got a camera and do-it-yourself materials.
"Thank you very much, Grandpa!" they cried before going out of the old Moreau's room.
Their presents will be transferred by Selda to the playroom. They are getting ready for bed, but Aria can't bring comfort to herself. She feels like something is about to happen. She would look outside, check each corner of the room, and then at her children, who are now resting.
"Mom, can't you sleep?" Fortune asked her.
"I am going to watch over you. Sleep tight, Honey!" Aria said.
The kids are in silent slumber while Aria is trying to keep herself awake by reading some digital books. She fought hard not to fall asleep, but she missed it. Deep in her sleep, she had seen Fortune grasping his breath, and she was trying to get a hold of him, but as she moved closer, something was pulling him far away from her. She cried and called for help. However, no one came. It seems like nobody can hear her.
"Mommmm!" someone cried.
She could not see who it was, but she could hear his voice.
"Mommy!" he continued and sounded helpless.
Aria returned to consciousness when someone hit her hard.
"Ouch! What was that for?" she complained, holding her right cheek.
"I have been trying to wake you up but you are not hearing me, so I slapped your face," Lucky said.
"I tried not to sleep but I failed. What happened?" Aria replied after she realized she had fallen asleep.
"Mom, Fortune is sick," Lucky advised her.
She takes her sight to Fortune and checks his temperature. He was normal, but his looks don't say so. His eyes were rolling, and he was holding his stomach.
"Honey, what do you feel? Tell Mommy which part of you is painful?" she said nervously.
He is not answering and ain't moving. He was sticking to the same position. She tried to straighten him up and elevate his head. He was mumbling, but they couldn't understand what he was saying. His tears are coming out of his eyes, but there are no words he can utter. Aria's head went blank and she couldn't think of her next steps.
"Mom, we should bring Fortune to the hospital," Luck suggested.
"Yeah, let's go!" she said without thinking.
She carries him out of the room, and she has no other option but to take the elevator. Lucky was preparing his brother's clothing while Charm called for help. She hardly opens her eyes while inside the elevator until she reaches the ground floor.
"What happened?" Selda asked.
"We are going to the hospital. Please advise Roberto to drive us," Aria ordered Selda, and the latter went to the staff's villa to inform Roberto.
Aria is in the living room waiting for Selda and Lucky when Alexander arrives.
"What is happening here?" Alexander asks while in his sleeping wardrobe.
"Dad, I need to take Fortune to the hospital. His temperature was normal but he doesn't look okay." Aria told Alexander and started to check Fortune's condition.
His eyes stopped rolling and his body was softened, unlike earlier, but it was hard to straighten him up.
"He looks fine to me and even his temperature was normal," Alexander informs Aria, who is still afraid of her son's health condition.
Fortune stood up like nothing happened and ran towards the kitchen. They went after him and found him in the restroom. He was vomiting and blood was coming out of his mouth while his body was trembling.
"Oh my God!" Aria cried while watching her son.
She covered his mouth with a clean cloth and carried him. She needs to go to the hospital now before it's too late.
