After learning the bad news from his wife, Lucio took a chopper to send him back home to the estate. He was wondering what might have caused his son to be sick. He will take a quick look first at the estate.
"Selda, what's the situation here right now?" Lucio asked.
"We aren't finished yet with the cleaning. Hopefully, it won't take long," she answered.
"How many days should I hope and wait for it to be finished? What exactly is the emergency here?" Lucio started to investigate.
"Did Madam not tell you?" Selda replied.
"She did, but I wanted to see them myself. Where is the Head Master?" he exclaimed.
"He was with Keila, Young Master. I can show you, but I am scared that it might harm you," Selda told Lucio, who was having doubts.
"I want to see them!" he demands.
Selda answered, "Keila and the Head Master don't want to be disturbed. Sorry to tell you that, but that's what we were told."
"Okay, I want to see the thing," Lucio continued.
"As much as I would like to, however, the Head Master ordered us not to allow anyone, especially his family members, to go closer to that thing. He is making sure he is on top of our safety. It's best for us to listen to what he has said. It is for our own good," Selda insists.
"Alright, did you hear that Fortune was in the hospital? Do you know what might be the reason?" he remembered to ask Selda.
Selda replied, "I have heard about it because Madam did call for help. It is becoming uneasy for all of us given that we are also having a situation here in the estate. I hope he will be well soon."
"Yeah, I hope so. I am going to the hospital. Please advise Father whenever you can." Lucio informed Selda and hurriedly got out of the mansion.
He took his car and made his first stopover at the farmhouse to see the twins.
"How are you two? Are you alright?" he said, worrying about them.
"Yes, Daddy, but Fortune isn't well. He was rushed to the hospital. Mom is with him," Charm made a report to his father.
"He will be fine soon. I will go after them. Just listen and behave while Mom and Dad are away for a while. Alright?" Lucio instructed the twins before he left.
"Love you, Dad!" the twins shouted in chorus while watching their dad's back.
Lucio arrived at the hospital and was advised to visit where his son was admitted. He found Aria sitting on the bench outside the room. She looks so tired and weary. Her sad face might have added to it.
"Sweetie, how's Fortune?" he asked.
"Thank God! You are here!" she cried and hugged him tightly.
"Yeah, I came in a rush. I am so worried about our son. Any progress?" he asked.
She reported that "He was asleep. He is resting, and I'm glad that the doctors were able to help him feel better."
"That is good. Then why are you here?" Lucio asked.
"I just can't bear watching our son in that bed. I can't endure seeing him in this situation. I hope he will be better soon!" she answered, crying.
"Ssssh! That is enough! Fortune was a very strong kid. He was healthy and we can figure out what exactly was the reason why this happened to him." Lucio assured his wife and held her hands to show her some support.
"You are right!" she replied.
They go inside the room, and Lucio comes beside his son while holding his wife's left hand.
"Hey, strong man! Get well really soon! Dad can't wait to play with you again," he whispered.
He could not hide his emotions when he saw Fortune in the most dreary situation. Fortune moved and opened his eyes. He looked happy when he saw Lucio with Aria beside him.
"Daddy, you are here!" he said softly.
"Yes, honey! How do you feel now?" Lucio asked.
"I am feeling better. I can go home now. My twins are waiting for me at home," he answered positively.
"We will talk to the doctor so we can go out of the hospital shortly," Lucio told his son, who looked paler than normal.
"Alright, Daddy. How were Charm and Lucky? Are they good?" Fortune asked.
"Yes, they are doing okay. What happened to you? Your twins are healthy, and I am surprised that you got sick all of a sudden," Lucio wondered.
"I didn't know. We just played outside that day, and then I felt like I was losing my appetite when we were having our dinner. After that, I ran to the toilet. I was having a sour taste, and I just wanted to flush all of it out." Fortune told his father what he felt that day.
"Did you go anywhere else or eat something that is not usual for you to go to or take?" Lucio asked.
"No, none that I can recall," Fortune told Lucio, making him look more bothered.
Fortune held his dad's chin and smiled.
"Dad, don't think too much. Do not be concerned about me. I am well now and I am excited to go home with you," he insisted.
"Okay, just be more careful next time so Daddy has nothing to be worried about." Lucio reminded Fortune, and he just smiled and nodded to his Dad.
"The doctor is in," Aria said.
"How do you feel, Mr. Moreau?" the doctor asked Fortune.
"I am good. Thanks, Doc, for helping me!" Fortune answered happily.
"Glad you are here!" the doctor said when he saw Lucio.
"I was about to leave for work and I was nervous hearing the news, so I hurried to see my family," Lucio explained.
The doctor explained the findings and what foods should be avoided so it won't happen again. He said that he should not be eating raw or hard-to-digest types of food.
The nice doctor said, "Make sure to take the medicines on time and if you have any questions, let me know."
"When can we go out of the hospital, Doc?" Lucio asked the specialist.
"You can go out tomorrow if things become stable and there is nothing strange about his condition," he replied.
"Thank you so much!" Aria said, feeling relieved.
The couple can now breathe freely knowing that their son has been treated on time.
"Have you heard what the doctor said? You should be wary of what you eat. I will ask Mayi to be keener in the food preparation," Aria told her son.
"Yes Mom, thank you for taking care of me!" Fortune replied to his mother thoughtfully.
"You are my life. You are my forever babies. I love you so much, honey!" Aria said.
"I promise to be a good kid, Mom. I will not make you worry," Fortune assured his mom.
"Good boy!" Lucio said proudly as he brushed his hair up.
After a while, their food was delivered. They eat all the food when they get some visitors.
"Hey, Dad! You came," Lucio blurted in surprise.
"Of course. This young man made me worry. Selda told me you arrived early," Alexander replied.
Keila is not talking to Fortune, who is a bit surprised by her gestures. Keila was never fond of the triplets. She avoided associating with them and she seldom talked to them, as she did with Lucio.
Aria was busy explaining to Fortune while Keila was silently watching over them.
"Thanks, Aunt, for coming. I appreciate it!" Fortune told Keila when he noticed her presence.
"How was the crisis going on? I hope it was managed carefully and speedily," Aria hoped that they could go back to the big house.
"We too hoped that we could overcome it in no time. They are doing their best to get rid of those pests," Keila answered.
"We will get over it soon enough, so you can all go back home. I miss this man!" Alexander said.
"Let me know how I can help to expedite the procedure. I can't wait much longer for my family to stay back in the mansion. I am afraid that what happened to Fortune was due to the new house. They are not used to that place," Lucio complained.
Keila raised her right eyebrow upon hearing what Lucio had said.
"We can manage it. Your family can go back to the mansion as soon as possible. And you must go back to Manila because your business awaits you. You are needed there," Keila pushed it back to Lucio.
"I know! I will stay here for a couple of days to be with my family. I wanted to make sure everything was okay in that farmhouse," Lucio declared, which made Aria feel happy and comfortable.
