Chapter 2

He growls softly “My beautiful mate.” He leans forward and kisses me with such passion and need like I am the fresh air he needs to breathe. I start to melt into him, all my anxiety and fears wash away. He pulls away far too soon  and sets me down, I am almost dizzy from how much he intoxicates me. He steadies me on my feet and I look up at his beautiful light green eyes. He gives me a smile that makes me want to melt at his feet. I hear someone walking toward us hastily. We break eye contact to see Blade looking furious. He halts in front of the gorgeous man in front of me. “King Kane, welcome to the Red Blood Packhouse.” Blade says. I gasp and step out of the man’s grasp. “King? King? I am so sorry, I didn’t realize…” I stand there apologizing, embarrassment creeping up my face and out of my mouth. I don’t even know what I am apologizing for, he kissed me! King Kane steps toward me and takes my hand. “Thank you for hosting my pack at your home. We will have to have this meeting later, right now I need…” King Kane trails off and looks toward me, “I am sorry I did not catch your name.” He waits in anticipation for me to say something. My voice sounds small, “Valencia but I go by Val….” He half smiles and repeats my name, “Val.” He turns toward Blade and continues, “Right now I need Val to show me where I will be staying.”  Blade’s face is red from anger and he hesitates before he steps aside and nods. “Shall we?” King Kane says to me. I stand frozen for a moment before heading up the stairs of the packhouse. My mind is racing, my heart is beating so fast that I think it might explode. I take one step at a time, tripping over one of them. I start to fall before I am caught by big, strong arms. King Kane holds me to him like I am weightless as he continues climbing the stairs. We reach his room and I open the door and step inside. He follows closely behind me as I turn around he steps toward me. My heart drops, he takes my face in his hands and I feel the sparks run up and down my body. “I can’t believe I found you after all this time. You are gorgeous.” He says in a low, sexy voice that makes me quiver where I stand. He pulls me up to his face and kisses me hard. I run my fingers through his perfect hair as he rips my shirt in two. I gasp and start tugging at his shirt. He pulls it off in a flash. His touch on my body is like nothing that I have ever felt before. Every touch feels like a fire on my skin. He pushes me onto the bed and slides my pants off swiftly. He tears my panties away. I prop up on my elbows to look at the gorgeous man in front of me. I lick my lips and I hear him let out a sexy groan as he looks my naked body over from head to toe. He discards his pants and boxers and his erection springs free. I look in amazement at how big he is. He positions himself in between my legs. He runs the tip of his shaft up and down my slit. I let out a soft moan and closed my eyes. “Oh yes King Kane.” “ Call me Kane, Val.” He says as he enters me. He goes deeper and I wince because of how big he is inside me. He slowly pulls out and enters me again. I let out a loud moan which encourages him to go faster. I have never felt anything like this, the fire and electricity between us surrounds me. He is pounding into me as I feel myself about to finish. He takes my n****e in his mouth and starts sucking. I peak and let go, “Oh, Kane!!” He moans loudly, thrusting one final time before finishing inside me. He collapses on me as we try to catch our breath. He gently pulls out and rolls onto the bed beside me. I roll on my side to look at his beautiful face. He isn’t even sweating, I start to get self-conscious at how I look. I'm sweaty, my hair is messed up, and I didn’t even wear makeup today. I go to roll away from him when he lifts me up and onto his hard chest. “ Where are you going?” He smirks at me as he pushes my sweaty hair out of my face. I blush and smile at him, “Where do you want me to go?” He slides me to the side and stands up. He bends down for clothes and tugs them back on. I feel my heart sink in my chest. “Stay here while I go to the meeting with Alpha Blade. I will come back shortly and we can get to know each other a little more.” He says while eyeing my body again. “What? No, I can’t stay here. I have to go to the meeting. It is mandatory that every pack member is there!” I exclaim looking around for pants. “Val, I am your Alpha now, you will do as I say. Plus I ripped your shirt, are you going to go down in your bra?” He smirks at me knowing that he is right. I huff and put my hands on my hips,“I can’t just stay here!” He pulls me into him, “You can and you will, I will have my Beta bring you some clothes after the meeting.” I go to protest when he leans down to kiss me. I melt into his embrace and start kissing him back. He pulls away and walks out the door before I can steady myself from his intoxicating kiss.
