Thomas: Pain and Truth

1244 Words
My heart ached, and I wanted desperately to believe what she had told me, but the way I had found them together reminded me too much of my dream. I couldn't help but wonder if this hadn't been the first time. I couldn't help but fear that Thomas had already taken her from me. What if they had already been intimate? What if I was setting myself up for the ultimate heartache? The ring felt heavy in my pocket, and for the first time since buying it, I had doubts. "Of course I love you. I know what it looked like, Thomas. I promise you that he was just checking on me." I made the decision then to trust them both, even though every instinct in me told me not to. The truth was, I didn't want to have to imagine living my life without either of them. We tried our best to enjoy the night, but there was an air of something dangerous that hung over all three of us. I felt on edge and was constantly looking over my shoulder though I had no reason to feel that way. Soon I noticed that both Sela and Dash were behaving in the same peculiar way. Still, I knew what I had planned, and as the band began to play in the center of town, I took Sela's hand and walked her into the middle of the crowd. I fell onto one knee before I could have second thoughts, and as I presented the ring to her, I watched her face for any sign that this was not what she wanted. "Thomas? Oh!" She looked shocked, but when tears came to her eyes and she reached a hand out to touch my cheek gently, I knew it was time. "Marry me, Sela." And she leaned down and kissed me gently, nodding her head the entire time. Could it really be this easy? We faced the crowd and the cheers with elation, but as my eyes fell on Dash, there was a darkness in his eyes that I couldn't ignore. After a while, he smiled and then disappeared into the crowd. I didn't see him again that night. "I love you, Thomas." Sela kissed me deeply, and I held her close. We enjoyed the festival in each other's presence, though I still couldn't shake the feeling that there was something out there. Watching us. By the time I brought her home, I could see Dash's car parked in the driveway, though the lights were out in the house. Sela, usually shy and reserved, couldn't stop touching me. I knew I never wanted to stop touching her. Upstairs, in my room, I asked her to stay, and finally... Finally...She said yes. I was fevered with desire for her, and as we lay on my bed, I undressed her with reverence. She was my angel. She was the woman I would spend the rest of my life with. I kissed her deeply, and our tongues explored each other with desperation. Every moan she made set fire to my body, and I was achingly hard and full of need. "Please Sela. I love you." I slid the strap of her dress over her shoulder before placing gentle kisses there. She giggled as I moved the kisses to her neck, though my hands were busy working her dress off of her voluptuous curves. I kissed her again and pulled her close to me as I began to rub myself against her bare stomach through my clothing. Thankfully, Sela gave me a hand, unbuckling my belt and undoing the button of my jeans before she slowly slid the zipper down while looking me directly in the eye. She bit her bottom lip and then laughed, and I knew I had found my forever. I wasted no time unbuttoning my shirt, and I was naked before she was, though as I sat on the edge of the bed I was afforded a moment to take in her unearthly beauty. She stood only in her black lace underwear and bra, and as she walked towards me she moved her hands around her back in order to undo the clasps. She threw her bra away, and her breasts bounced slightly as she moved, and I salivated at the thought of taking them into my mouth one at a time and worshipping them. She slid her panties off and stood in front of me, her skin glowing in the gentle moonlight from my window. She fell to her knees in front of me and took me into her mouth. At the first contact between the wet heat and my aching c**k I worried I would come, but she was gentle and slow and she teased me just enough. I was close...too close, and I pulled her to me and lay her onto the bed as I trailed kisses down her neck and chest, finally latching onto her beautiful breasts as they both caressed my face. Lower and lower I moved until I was spreading her legs and falling between them, leading with my lips and my tongue as I tasted every single inch of her. She tasted divine, and I was the one moaning now, my c**k leaking and aching and wanting so badly to be inside of her. I was on top of her then, and she gripped me tightly as I looked at her and entered her for the first time. We both moaned and I fell onto her soft and pliant body, moving with desperation and need and tenderness as I slid in and out of her tight and willing body. There was a power in our union that made me feel a strength I never felt before, and as I looked down at her, for a moment I swear her skin was glowing with blue flames. I blinked, and it was gone, but the feeling remained. Something was happening between us that was inexplicable, and for some reason, I knew that it would put us all in danger. She came without warning, her entire body going rigid as she pulled me impossibly closer, and I followed soon after. We stayed together for a long time after, unwilling to part and desperate to keep loving each other. She fell asleep before I did, and I traced lazy patterns into the skin of her back as she snored softly next to me. Within moments, I too fell asleep, and my dreams were filled with strange visions that made me toss and turn. When I awoke in the middle of the night, Sela was standing quietly next to our bed. She had already dressed, but her eyes were not focused on me. She was staring out of the window above my bed, and her eyes did not blink. I wondered for a moment if she was still asleep. "Sela?" Her eyes turned to me, but nothing else moved. It was then I noticed the gun that she gripped in her right hand as it hung down by her side. My gun. My heart began to thunder as she brought the gun up quickly and clicked off the safety. She pointed it out the window as I raised my hands slightly above my head, terrified of what was coming. "I'm sorry, Thomas." Her eyes were filled with tears then, and she finally looked back towards what she was pointing at. "We're out of time."
