“So what did you do?” asked the little Child.
“The Tomcat started to question me: ‘Come, tell me quick. Where are you from? Who
are your family?’
“I didn’t understand his question, so I frowned involuntarily. That was all he needed:
‘What is your wealth like, you hypocrite; you act like you don’t understand? Do you think you’ll get away with it so easily?’
‘So that was the question?’ came into my mind.
“I didn’t know what to say! I was terrified. ‘What can I do? My life depends on this answer,’ my brains started to hum from all the thinking. I concentrated, as best as I could, trying to be very careful with what I was going to say.
