This book is about a young woman who finds out that she has a gift of magic. That she goes to school and works night shift. she finds out that she is a healer and can stop painful things from happening to her and others. She's able to take the light from the sky and use it heal people who are sick and in pain.

She's able to take the lightning strikes from and make medications with it. Her name is Jane and she spends most of her time healing others. And inside public libraries studying her new healing gift. Jane spends most of her time alone and almost everyone leaves her alone. Jane is known inside the school as the healer and the only one who handle magical powers.

Every time something happens in the school and everyone looks at Jane to always fix it. No one knows or understands how Jane became a healer. Every time Jane looks at her self in a mirror something happens to her and and some she knows it's as the dean of the school is messing with her head. Jane have have anyone who she can speak with at any given time
