Ten minutes later, four of them were sitting in interview room one, while Scott Hause sat in an adjoining room with a one-way mirror. Cotter stood beside him. “Before you answer, take a good look at these men and then tell me if they are the guys who threatened you.”
Taking a couple moments after moving closer to the glass, “They look right, but I can’t be a hundred percent sure.”
“Now, I’m going to turn on the intercom so you can hear their voices. Listen carefully before you answer.”
Although the interview was kept casual, one of the hoods became agitated and asked to be set free.
“That one sounds like the guy who threatened me.”
