Freedom never smelled so good. Spurred by a rising excitement far more wholesome than the anxiety that’s kept my heart pounding since I first started rubbing that rope on the stone, I begin squeezing my way through the window. Damn, it’s a tight fit! Luckily I’ve lost weight in my imprisonment. I scrape my already badly damaged breasts and buttocks something fierce but within minutes I’m out. Heart pounding so hard I can feel it behind my eyeballs, I take the time and risk of closing that creaky window again, not wanting the gas to escape. Then I rise from my knees and look around.
