Chap 6

Doms POV

We are coming up on the Howler Moon Pack to meet with Alpha Brian Howls. I can’t believe this spineless man hired a assassin to kill me. I look over at Alida sitting in the passenger seat. She is playing a game on her phone. I can see her knifes a d the outline of a g*n under her leather jacket.

Man she came prepared for this creep.

Yes she did buddy. But no one will hurt our mate.

“So how do we want to approach this?” Chris says from the back seat.

“Well I guess we go in and have our meeting as if nothing has changed. I am not letting him expand into my pack territory.” I say

“What do you want me to do? I can sit back or I can find a hidden spot outside?” Alida asks.

We need to keep mate safe at all costs.

Yes I know that.

“I think you should come in with us.” I say to her with a smile on my face.

“I agree that would be the best. I have amazing aim so if he Tries anything he will be dead before he can comprehend what happened.” Alida says with a sly smile on her face.

Brains POV

I have been waiting to hear if that stupid Alpha is dead yet. He called and confirmed our meeting today so I guess they haven’t taken the shot yet. Mr. Lincoln told me the Angel of Death took the case so he will be dead soon. I have faith he will take care of Dominic soon.

My warriors notify me that the Alphas car has crossed the boarder and is on the way to the pack house. Time to bid my time.

Alidas POV

This is all so new to me. Usually I’m the one hiding in the shadows not going into the light to get information. I will hold back and see where this goes.

Dom parks the car and several people file out of the pack house. It could use a coat of paint.

“Welcome to the Howler Moon Pack.” Says who I assume is Brain Howler.

“This is my Luna Tina and my Bata Richard.”

The Luna has way to much makeup on. She looks like it I slapped her face it would leave a makeup imprint on the wall. I have to stifle the giggle that was about to make its way out.

“Thank you for the warm welcome. This is my Bata Chris as you remember, my head warrior Dan and my mate Alida.” Dom says with a smile as he looks at me.

We walk into the pack house. This reminds me of my uncles old rundown house I grew up in for that short period of time. The inside has fancy furniture but it was in desperate needed a good clean.

We walk into his office and at least that looks better taken care of. Dom and Chris sit in the chairs across from his desk and I stand in back with Dan. Brian keeps eyeing me and l*****g his lips.

Ewww.

My thoughts exactly Aria. If he doesn’t stop I may vomit.

Doms POV

We walk into his office. He keeps eyeing Alida and l*****g his lips.

I’m going to rip his head off if he doesn’t stop that.

Hold yourself buddy, we need information before we kill him.

“Congratulations on finding your mate Alpha Dominic. There is no greater joy.” Alpha Brian says.

“Thank you Alpha Brian. We just recently discovered each other but we are not here to walk about mates.” I said in a serious voice.

“Ah yes. Have you given anymore thought in letting me buy that land so that I can expand my pack?” He said hopefully.

“I have. And after much deliberation and I have decided that I do not want to sell my land. My pack is flourishing and I need that land. But there is one thing that I wanted to talk to you about.” I say while looking around and Alida who is slowly walking around.

“Oh what is that Alpha?” Brian says with curiosity.

That man has one nerve doesn’t he.

“I wanted to talk about the contract you took out on my head.” I say while leaning back in my chair with my hands folded in my lap.” I watch his gulp

Alida POV

I am slowly circling the room slowly listening to the conversation and staying on high alert.

“I have. And after much deliberation and I have decided that I do not want to sell my land. My pack is flourishing and I need that land. But there is one thing that I wanted to talk to you about.” He say while looking around.

“Oh what is that Alpha?” Brian says with curiosity.

“I wanted to talk about the contract you took out on my head.” Dom says while leaning back in my chair with my hands folded in my lap.” Brian watch his gulp. Well this just got interesting.

“I have no idea what your talking about” Brian says in a slightly panicked voice.

I guess this is where I step in.

“Should I explain it to him?” I say to Dom.

“Sure baby” Dom says she with a smile.

I slowly walk up to his desk and pull out one of my throwing knifes and start flipping it around.

“Well you see Brian Howls. I know you took a contract out on him because I have connections with people at Lincoln Assassins and I heard from the Angel of Death that they were offered the contract.” I say and watch the color drain from his face. I throw the knife and it lands right next to his face.

“Either drop the contract or there will be consequences:” I say to him.

We walk out of the office and back to the car. Dom grabs my hand and give me a kiss on the cheek. “That was amazing baby”

“We will find out if he drops it. If not I will take him out.” I say to Dom
