Alida POV

My head is pounding. I open my eyes to find I’m not in the hospital anymore. I look around and see Dom sleeping next to me. So I’m in his room. God he’s hot purrs Aria. Yeah but we can’t stay. I get up and open the door. He didn’t even lock it. I sneak downstairs s it’s 2am so everyone’s asleep.

I head outside and find the tree and I was perched in. I get my phone and bag. I send a text to Lincoln. He is a werewolf so he Will understand somewhat.

-We have a problem. Target is alive, target is my mate.

-are you alright? I expected to hear from you hours ago? Did he hurt you?

-I got hurt in the fight but I’m ok now. I’m heading home.

-your not staying with him? Isn’t he your mate Alida.

-you know I never wanted a mate. I need to go home and think.

-I will drop the contact with Brian Howler. But you may want to take care of him before he Hires someone else.

I shift into Aria and run home. I finally reach home god i need a shower. Shower. I shower,eat and lay down to think. Should I have left my phone number. Should I stayed. I Barry my face in my pillow and fall asleep thinking of Dominic.

Dominic POV

I woke up and rolled over to find her gone. Is she in the bathroom? Did you go downstairs already? Did she leave? Ace is whining in my head.

I quickly get dressed. She’s not in the bathroom. I look all over the pack house and she’s not there. She left.

“Hey buddy what’s wrong” Chris says as he walk into the kitchen.

“She left in the middle of the night.”

“She will be back. The mate pull will bring her back. She probably needed some time to think. Or you can fallow her scent back to her home”. Sara says walking into the kitchen.

She goes up and wraps her arms around Chris giving him a sweet kiss. God I want that.

“I think I’m going to try to fallow her scent. We got rid of her scent blocker while she was out in the hospital. I should be able to find her!” I say jumping up and heading towards to door.

“Keep up updated “ Sara yells after me.

I’m going to find you little one.

I fallow her scent through the forest and cross my pack boarders. About 30 minutes in I come across a small cabin. Her scent is everywhere. It’s a nice little cabin. There is flowers planted out front a vegetable garden planted by the garage.

I peek in the garage and see a sleek black motorcycle, a black Ferrari, and a brand new black jeep. Well apparently the assassin business pays well. I chuckle to myself. Go get mate! I want to see mate axel yells at me. Ok ok. Don’t yell.

God I’m nervous. I take a deep breath and knock.

“Coming” I hear. Her voice sound groggy. God I think I woke up her. She opens the door wearing pajama pants and sports b*a. Man she’s hits she has a tattoo up her side I didn’t see before. It looks like some keltic symbols. Her eyes go wide.

“What are you doing here!”

“I fallowed your scent. Why did you leave this morning? I was worried.”

She opens the door wide and gestures me to come in. She walks to the kitchen and I follow her. She starts to make a pot of coffee.

“I left to contact my boss and came home to shower and eat.”

“Are you still going to kill me?”

“No my boss dropped the contact. But that doesn’t mean your life is no longer in danger. (She looks down on the counter.) I would never kill you. You are my mate. I did never expected to find my mate let alone have one. I was just surprised. I figured since the moon goddess took everything from me before I she wouldn’t bless me with one.”

“So will you give me a chance?” I cross my fingers.

Alida POV

I cant believe he showed up at my house. Omg I look like crap. Coffee I need coffee.

I opened the door wide and gestures for him to come in. I head to the kitchen to starts a pot of coffee.

“I left to contact my boss and came home to shower and eat.”

“Are you still going to kill me?”

“No my boss dropped the contact. But that doesn’t mean your life is no longer in danger. (I can’t eve look at him so I stare at the counter.) I would never kill you. You are my mate. I did never expected to find my mate let alone have one. I was just surprised. I figured since the moon goddess took everything from me before I she wouldn’t bless me with one.”

“So will you give me a chance?”

He is crossing his fingers. That’s so cute. I take a deep breath.
