51 Bard Concentration and haze made Bard’s head pound. Jori’s dreams always had a dark blur of unreality. He didn’t have the least bit of the Talent, but none of that was his fault. Bard tried to focus on what was happening while remaining aware of possible threats. Chetana and Tesni and the nearby capital meant a constant faraway buzz of other minds, but nothing invading Jori’s sleep.
