The next morning, Uncle Wise came to pay Kisha a visit. While Kisha was outside shooting tin cans with her sling shot.

Uncle Wise: I'm impressed. You have good aims for a 19-year-old.

Kisha: thanks, I'm turning 20 tomorrow.

Uncle Wise: You are a big girl now, huh?

Kisha: I suppose? [pulls sling shot and shoots down a can]

Uncle Wise: and very brave aswell.

Kisha: I got that from my Mom, I guess.

Uncle Wise: So what did the cans do early this morning? [sits down by a rock near the ship's tank]

Kisha: I will fight the mermaids, Uncle, they can't erase us all just like that. In fact, I will cut that goddess' head off myself.

Uncle Wise: they are too strong for us to fight back.

Kisha: you are right, but there's something that I need to show you inside. Follow me.

[Uncle Wise stands up and follows Kisha inside.]

Kisha grabs the tin of hot water from the fire and makes uncle Wise some tea. I will be right back, says Kisha. She brings the string of beads to Uncle Wise and joins him on the table.

Kisha: Uncle Wise, I got this string of beads from Pena, she got it from the trash cans as she was looking for some metal to fix our chair

Uncle Wise: I can feel its energy. What can it do?

Kisha: So far, it has only gotten me to a kingdom outside of earth.

Uncle Wise: Must be Jupiter. There are celestial beings that live on Jupiter Kisha, and our planet has history with these creatures.

Kisha: I spoke to their princess. She seemed kind.

Uncle Wise: you spoke to the beings? [suprised]

Kisha: She was preparing for her father's banquet when I got there. I couldn't speak much with her because she had to go, but she seemed kind to me.

Uncle Wise: Be very careful Kisha.

Kisha: why is there something i don't know about?

Uncle Wise: Many years ago, they wanted to invade our earth and expand their territory here. Taking over planets was their habit. The earth was on their map. If these creatures get the soul of any human being, they can get access to the whole territory through that one man. They will manipulate him by using telepathic communication and trick him to do things he doesn't want to do, including destroying his own kind and worshipping their King.

Kisha: I could tell, the princess knew I was in her room without me even making a sound. but don't you think they could help us in our war against the mermaids?

Uncle Wise: did you tell them where you are from?

Kisha: I'm afraid I did, Uncle Wise. [worried face]

Uncle Wise: No Kisha [replies with anger] we have lost enough already. Involving these creatures may bring us more trouble than we can imagine. A fight with mermaids is enough involving another kingdom is great danger.

Kisha: then how do we defeat the mermaids uncle wise?

Uncle Wise: I will inform you later today. [stands up and picks up his walking stick] I will assemble everyone again tomorrow. I've heard some men have prepared themselves to fight. I will see you tommorow [walks out]

[as Uncle Wise walks out of the door, Kisha follows him behind and stops]

Kisha: my mother's death still pains me.

Uncle Wise: what does that suppose to mean?

Kisha: I have to finish what I have started.

Uncle Wise: [thinks for a while, and continues to walk away silently.]

Leaving Kisha with the beads in her hand, she watches Uncle Wise go down the pile of metal, and deep down her heart she knows the hood will be needing help from the creatures, but Uncle Wise won't allow it. "For the hood", she says under breath. She gets back inside and slams the door.

grabs one of the chairs and rolls the beads and is instantly transported to Jupiter, the world of the creatures. She meets the princess coming from the royal garden, entering her royal room.

Princess; it's you again...

Kisha: we need to talk..
