CHAPTER 7: OUT OF ORDER

It's been almost 12 hours since Lena was last seen. No one knows where to find her. Shantel feigned innocence, as if she don't even know that person.
No one was entering the washroom today in the third floor, because it's has a note written in bold letters;' OUT OF ORDER AND UNDER REPAIR PLEASE KEEP OFF THANK YOU.'Inside, Lena was having a hard time thinking that she is trapped here and she don't know how long she's going to stay here.
"Leo, save me I'm freezing cold in here" She was mumbling under her breath with great difficult. She was just waiting for a miracle to happen then.
Outside, her Leo was running mad, he can't believe what he was hearing, how can someone disappear just like that? that too in the school compounds,!! impossible!! he is not having any of this. He has a suspect in mind but because she hasn't shown herself infront of him since she came to kenya, he won't approach her first. He is gonna play along, and pretend he is not aware of her little tricks.
All over a sudden, something caught his attention," Out of order?" He decided to go near the ' out of order' area, he listened carefully for any noise from inside, he vaguely heard someone whispering something in a somewhat tired whisper.
" Boom" he gave just one kick and the door flew open. " Lena?" He calledin a trembling voice. She heard him, ' It's him!' she thought, and she started banging the door again with the little energy remaining in her system.
No one knew how joyful he got when his senses told him that must be his Lena.He could not kick the door open for fear of hurting her.He said in a soft voice " Lena, hold on some more I Will get the key and get you out in a minute okay?"
He ran out, got the spare key from the security room, opened the door. He saw his girl on the floor, the cold f*****g floor, his heart ached for her. The lively girl he knows is helplessly lying on the cold washroom floor, he picked her up , carried her in his arms and strode out.
" Leo" She called out weakly just to confirm." I'm here don't be afraid " He assured her in firm, determined voice. She continued "Water,I need water" He strode forward in wide strides to the school infirmary. " Bring her some water first " He shouted at the nurse who was opening her mouth in shock of what she just saw." okay, here" She moved in a speed that she never knew she can move with all her life.She never knew she had that kind of speed unti today.
Lena's hands were trembling so he had to help her drink it. He then turned to the nurse and instructed her to check on Lena and give her some painkillers. With his cold piercing eyes on the nurse, She knew she had to do what she was ordered to do or those eyes are gonna kill her for sure.
After check- up, she was carried out to his car, all this time she was just silent. She thought she hasn't said anything and managed to squeeze a ' Thank you ' out of her dry lips.He leaned over to her, kissed her on her forehead and said " Get some rest first." His thoughts wete running wild right now. 'Why is Shantel here? was she sent to make trouble to me? Why is she not appearing before me, instead she went straight to Lena.' He needs to put an end to her nonsense before its too late.
In the morning, Lawrence called him to inform of the events that unveiled in the corridor, he had planted his people in college for Lena's safety, he didn't know what that Shantel girl was upto, but he didn't expect her to attack Lena in their first encounter.
Leo had tried to call Lena but no one answered and even the phone went off.It was like the universe was laughing at him and punishing him for his past mistake which has gotten up with him.He almost went crazy, he decide to go to the college himself, to his surprise, after asking around, no one knew where to find her.He even hired some college students to help in the search but to no avail. He don't know what would have happened to his Lena if he didn't find her on time.
