Shantel took full advantage of her families wealth and decided to t*****e Lena with it. Lena's heart was really having somersault right now, she didn't know how to refute shantel's claims at all. Yes, how long has she known Leo for? ' Two months,' How much does she know about him? ' Very little,' Between her and Lena, Who is he going to choose when given a choice? Lena is not sure about that. Shantel left her in her own thoughts with a satisfied face, but not without a warning, " You have until tomorrow to think about it,Your family or your love." And she swung on her high heels heading out, although her sprained leg was hurting she managed to pretend to be strong so she doesn't lose to Lena.
Meanwhile, Leo was informed of the happenings by his secret bodyguards, he sprinted to the door without even thinking. "Oh God, my Lena will be brainwashed by that witch, damn it." On reaching out in the parking lot, he found that he had rushed out without taking his key, but he didn't have time to go back. At this time, a manager of clothing department was just parking the company's car not far away from where he was, ge rushed over, grabbed him by the collar, pushed him aside, took the car keys from him and shouted apologetically, "Emergency ." Then he drove off to the highest speed he could manage. The manager stood rooted and just shook his head in disbelief, no, he was seeing things, that was not calm and composed boss he knows.
After the unexpected drama that shook Lena's heart, she didn't even know how she got to her best friend's house, she just got herself standing at Angela's door and knocking. In less than 2 minutes, the door flew open, revealing a joyful girl who was about to hug her, but then her hands froze in the air. "Lena? What's wrong girl? you don't look good at all? What's happening? Talk to me please, she tried to shake Lena but Lena really just looked like a zombie, she was huggered, tired and seemingly, she had lost herself. She wasn't like Lena that she knows well.
Angela dragged Lena inside, and closed the door behind them. Lena looked blankly at her friend and asked in a horse voice, "Can I sleep on your bed? I feel exhausted. And please can you just be the good friend that you are and stop asking questions? we will talk but not now" She gave her a smile that was not an actual smile and covered her face with the guilt. She had cried so much today that she didn't have anymore tears. Angela shrugged her shoulders and left for the kitchen, ' my friend will need something when she wakes up I will prepare her favourite. ' " Tap Tap Tap" Her was knocked fiercely as if it's gonna go down anytime if she doesn't open immediately. She opened the door and gasped at the extra handsome man on her door step, he was panting as if he was being chased by a fierce animal. He got himself in before he said, " Sorry, may I?" The dumbfounded girl came back and said respectively " Oh , yes please sir." He turned around and said , " Don't call me sir, I'm Leo, Lena's boyfriend,have you seen her today? I was told she came this way and I'm here for her. " Lena's current image explained everything to Angela now. " I know you are Lena's boyfriend , she told me about you, She came here looking exhausted and lifeless, do you mind explaining what the hell happened to my bestie? I have never seen her this discouraged." Angela was really worried about her friend. "Long story" He said looking around impatiently. " Where is she?" He really wanted to see her, cuddle her and breath in her special scent, he misses her. Angela saw how restless he was and guided him towards her bedroom, here, but please, let her sleep for a while, she seems so peaceful sleeping like this. He looked over and nodded but tiptoed to her side squarted as if to make sure she was the one.
After some three hours of sleep, she eventually opened her eyes coming back to reality. Shantel's voice echoing in her head, she pressed her head to relieve the pain but it only hurted more." You okay?" A familiar voice echoed in the room. " Aaaaah," She was startled beyond imagination. 'Why is here?' She thought she will escape him today. She didn't want all the things Shantel said to happen, especially to her family. She quickly got to her feet, rushed in the bathroom and banged the tightly, shutting herself in there, she wanted to be alone, she didn't want company, especially notthis man.
He glanced at the tightly shut door and walked over to knock. When Angela heard the screaming and the banged door, she rushed in nervously, " What's wrong ?" She asked the man standing at her bathroom door. But the one inside was the one who answered her with a screaming voice, "Damn you Angie, we are not friends anymore. Why did you call him here, I don't want to see the both of you, go away." She was using all her strength. "No Len, I didn't call him, he came here panting and knocking on my door my door and by the looks of things, you two needs to talk, now come out right now before this door goes down, you know I'm not joking. " Lena opened the door slowly sighing, she looked at her man's huggered face and both of their hearts were hurting for each other. She passed through the both of them with a funny face and sat on the sofa, " That's my girl, Angela remarked and turned to the calm man beside her. She said like a no nonsense mom, " Both of you have a talk, I'm going to the library and there's enough food in the kitchen, make sure she eats everything ir else...."
