Betrayed Tyler looked at Ronald, his expression grave. "I don't know all the details," he said. "But my pack has heard rumors of an attack that's coming soon. We don't know who's behind it or what their motives are, but we do know that it's going to be big. And we think your pack may be one of the targets." Ronald's heart pounded in his chest. "What kind of attack?" he asked. "We're not sure," Tyler admitted. "But we've heard talk of a group of rogue werewolves who are gathering allies and preparing to strike. They're looking to take over territory and establish dominance over the other packs in the area." Ronald's mind raced as he tried to process the information. He had always known that there were other packs out there, but he had never really thought about the possibility of an attack. "How soon do you think it will happen?" he asked. "We're not sure," Tyler said. "But we think it could be within the next few weeks. Maybe even sooner." Ronald swallowed hard. "What can we do to prepare?" he asked Tyler thought for a moment. "First of all, we need to be on high alert," he said. "We need to watch for any signs of suspicious activity and be ready to defend ourselves if necessary. We should also try to gather as much information as we can about the rogue werewolves and their plans." Ronald nodded. "Okay," he said. "I'll start by talking to my pack and seeing what we can do to prepare. Thank you for warning us, Tyler." Tyler nodded back. "Of course," he said. "It’s the least I can do” Over the next few days, Ronald and Tyler worked tirelessly to prepare for the impending attack. They organized training sessions, gathered information, and made sure everyone in the pack was aware of the situation. The pack members were initially skeptical about Tyler's warning, but as they saw the preparations being made, they started taking it seriously. Finally, the day of the attack arrived. The opposing pack descended upon Ronald's pack, their numbers much greater than anticipated. But Ronald and Tyler were ready. They had trained their pack members well, and everyone fought fiercely. Ronald and Tyler, in their werewolf forms, led the charge. They were a formidable duo, taking down rogue werewolves left and right. As the battle raged on, it became clear that the opposing pack was no match for Ronald and his pack. Eventually, the last rogue werewolf fell to the ground, defeated. Ronald let out a victorious howl, and the rest of the pack joined in. Tyler was breathing heavily but still grinning from ear to ear. Ronald approached him, clapping him on the shoulder. "You were right, Tyler. We couldn't have done this without you," he said. Tyler smiled. "I'm just glad I could help," he said. Ronald thought for a moment. "Tyler, I want to offer you something," he said. "I want you to be my Beta." Tyler looked surprised. "Your Beta?" he repeated. Ronald nodded. "Yes. You've proven yourself to be a valuable member of our pack, and I want you by my side as we face whatever comes next," he said. Tyler's eyes lit up. "I would be honored," he said, bowing his head. From that day on, Tyler was Ronald's Beta. Together, they led the pack with strength and courage, always ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. But even as they celebrated their victory, Ronald couldn't help but wonder if this was the end of the danger or just the beginning. ******* Ronald had been working hard to bring development and peace to his pack. He had secured their lives and brought prosperity to his people. He had been successful in maintaining harmony and unity within his pack. However, despite his efforts, he was unaware that his home was in shackles. One day, Ronald returned early from a hunt, feeling exhausted but satisfied with his catch. He was looking forward to spending the rest of the day with his mate, Whitney, whom he had missed dearly. However, as he approached his pack's territory, he heard strange noises coming from his own den. He paused, feeling a sense of foreboding, and then cautiously approached the den. To his utter shock, he found Whitney entangled with Tyler, his own Beta, in a passionate embrace. Ronald was speechless, frozen in disbelief at the scene before him. His mind was racing, trying to comprehend the situation. How could Whitney do this to him? And Tyler, his most trusted Beta, how could he betray his Alpha like this? "Ronald, I can explain," Whitney stammered, trying to untangle herself from Tyler. Ronald's eyes narrowed as he stepped forward. "Explain what? That you're sleeping with my Beta behind my back?" he growled. Whitney tried to protest, but Ronald wouldn't listen. He felt like his entire world was crumbling around him. His mate and his second-in-command, the two people he trusted most in the world, had betrayed him. "What the hell is going on?" Ronald demanded, turning to Tyler. Tyler looked down, shame etched on his face. "I'm sorry, Ronald. It just happened. We didn't mean for it to go this far." Ronald couldn't believe what he was hearing. Tyler was always so loyal, and yet he had done this to him. His mind was racing, and he didn't know what to do. "You both have betrayed me," Ronald said through gritted teeth. "I trusted you, Tyler. I trusted you both." Whitney tried to reach out to him, but he pushed her away. He didn't know if he could ever forgive her for what she had done. As he walked away, his mind was in turmoil. He had put so much effort into building up his pack and securing their safety, but it seemed like everything he had worked for was falling apart. Ronald's heart felt like it had been ripped out of his chest. He couldn't bear to watch any longer and stumbled out of the den, feeling dizzy and disoriented. The world around him seemed to spin as he struggled to come to terms with what he had just seen. Ronald stumbled away from the den, his mind reeling with the revelation of Whitney and Tyler's affair. He couldn't believe what he had just seen. How long had it been going on? Was there anyone else in the pack who knew about it? Lost in thought, he didn't notice the figure approaching him from behind. Before he could react, a sharp blow struck the back of his head, and everything went black. Who had attacked him? Was it someone from his own pack, or had the opposing pack finally made their move? Ronald had a feeling that the answer to his questions was going to be a painful one.
