Images of Tavy alive and of Tavy dead floated in and out of his dreams. He tried to apologize to the old man, only to watch him turn away and disappear into mists. Then the nightmare really began-a table, a black cross grid on a large, white piece of paper with him racing to stick letters squarely into the puzzle.
