5. GISELLE

Mondays are usually very busy for me, but not this Monday. I'm supposed to be at work by 9am but it's 8:35am and I haven't even had my bath. You must be wondering what I'm doing, the truth is I'm stalking. Yes you read correctly, I'm stalking June Bjor's i********:. She seems so perfect and put together. I have never been interested in other people's lifestyle but I can't help but state at this perfection. She recently uploaded a picture of her and her husband, he was smiling that his perfect smile and they looked so good together. So why is this man trying to secure a date with me if he's married? What is it with me and attracting married men? I dragged myself from the bed to the bathroom, I put a face sheet mask on my face as I began to brush and tie up my hair. I feel so tired today and I don't feel like going to work, should I call in sick or should I go to work?. After what seemed like a minute of deliberation I decided to get ready for work. I took my curling tong and began tong my hair to get my waves. After doing my hair i threw in a bath bomb in the bathtub, I'm going to soak myself this morning and I don't care if I'm late. I take time to scrub and take care of myself.

By the time I'm done it's already 10am, I'm dressed in a black trousers and white chiffon top. I'm grateful I'm the manager because I need the extra allowance today, I get into work and Regina notices my mood and stays to herself. I appreciate her silently for that because I have had an eventful weekend. I check our website and saw some questions, I answer the questions and I write a blog posts on types of tops a lady needs. I post on the website and began to scroll through SHEIN, you can't blame me, it's called retail therapy. I pick some gowns, pay for it and soon it was time for lunch, honestly didn't feel like eating so I stayed back and continued stalking June that's when my phone beeped with a message.

"Hi, it's Maxwell just checking in and letting you have my number" Interesting. I reply "Oh thanks" apparently he doesn't get the hint that I don't want to talk because he sends another one "How is your day going" "it's going quite slow and ok" he replies "do you want us to have lunch together" I hate impromptu plans and meeting so I said "No thanks, except if we hang out that automatically means I'm no longer owing you" it takes less than 30 seconds and my phone begins to ring. I pick it up while hearing "Are trying to push me away" yes I am and would it be bad to tell him that? So I said "I'm just busy these days and I need to do things, what's the problem?" He chuckled and said "Now I know you're trying to push me out". I smiled and said "Any problem with that? After all you're happily married" and he said "There it is, the reason for your coldness" I tried to brush past it but he continued "I just find you interesting, if you aren't comfortable with hanging out with me I won't insist but I just want to hangout. I'm not promising I won't do anything though because you've been occupying my mind".

What a Revelation. I just smiled and said "Ok, we shall see. If I want more I will tell you but for now I'll pass on the offer". He replied "Ok pick a place and time so we can hangout" I find that as a turnoff so immediately I corrected him "If you're going to hangout with me, I believe you're the one that should pick a place and time" he laughed and said "Stubborn, I like that" I didn't say anything so he said "I'll text you the time and place also, have a good day". Just like that the call was disconnected, so I guess I have a date ladies and gentlemen, I send Ashley an SOS text and she calls immediately so I fill her in in everything Maxwell and I discussed and she said "Are you sure about this Giselle? Do you really want to go out with him?" I replied "You know I haven't gone out in a while if it isn't with you and George, so I want to do this and remember I've always wanted to do the one night stand thing" She laughed and said "Ok, just remember that I love you". I then said "You know you have to come around so we can pick a dress and for girl support" she replied "Sure, just let me know the day so I will close work ahead" I can't be more grateful for having this girl in my life.
