“Sarkon." Sanders appeared at the door.
The CEO of the Ritchie Corporation looked up with an angry blue gaze.
Ignoring it, his secretary continued in a monotone voice. “Karl called. Maria's going back to school."
The beast widened his gaze. She's going back to him, he concluded. And this time, he had no right to stop her.
“Let her do whatever she wishes."
“I'll tell Karl."
Sarkon leaned back against the pillows and closed his eyes.
“Shall I tell him to keep an eye on Maria too?"
The beast nodded.

Maria opened the door to her dorm and pulled her luggage in.
Since there was a week left before the semester break, she would not unpack everything for now.
