The meeting

Okay, It's a Friday night and I was bored, my two best friends were too busy having a Friday night date at Ayo's apartment and am just here,laying on my couch doing nothing, that's when I decided I was going to the club. I mean why not,it's been a while have gone clubbing alone and it would be a perfect distraction for me anyway.

So I took a shower, afterward I headed towards my wardrobe and pulled out a red see_through lace dress,I wore a black tube bra and a short black tight then I wore the dress,picked up my black Versace mini purse,and a red heels. Then I grabbed my car keys and drove down to a club house only few blocks from my house.

I sat in the club for about an hour sipping on a glass of vodka and staring at the people on the dance floor,it took me a while to notice that a guy was staring at me,when our eyes met I looked down at my phone(I don't want to be too forward but I liked him already cause on a norms if a girl should ignore a guy like that he would give up,but he didnt,he left his friends and walked towards me. At this point I noticed his biceps and how fit he actually is,damn he's obviously going to be great in bed.(I smiled)

"Hi"(he said,I looked up from my phone and smiled)

"Hello"(I replied)

"Do you mind if I sit here"(he said as he pointed at the stool right beside me)

"Not at all"(he smiled and sat beside me then he called the bar man)

"A can of monster please"(he said and he looked at me)"mind if I buy you a drink"

"I already have a glass."(I said)

"Alcohol is never too much and considering the fact that you're holding only one glass"(I couldn't help it I laughed and then ordered for another glass of vodka)

"So what is a beautiful girl doing here all alone?"(he asked)

"And who said am alone,might as well be waiting for someone"

"What kind of gentleman keeps a lady as beautiful as you waiting at a bar,well since am not busy you mind if I stay and keep you company till your date get's here"(I smiled)

"I don't mind"

"Good,am Godwin"

"Adeshola"

"Nice to meet you SHOLA"

"Likewise"

We sat there for about an hour and half,I don't know what it was but we were vibing really well,he seemed nice and we had so much in common am not trying to over hype him but he seems harmless and friendly(I like him)

"So is it your boyfriend we are waiting for,seems to be keeping you waiting for long"(I laughed)

"Boyfriend!(I laughed the vodka was already kicking in)am not waiting for anyone,neither do I have a boyfriend"

"You're single"

"Yes"

"For how long?

"About three years and six months"(his mouth flew open it was so obvious that he assumed I was lieing,well my friends don't believe me either they assumed I have a boyfriend but am keeping him a secret till the appropriate time comes,or I might have had one and it didn't work out and I refused to tell them.(Weird right)I laugh everytime Ayo says that(Ayo is my five years bestfriend,met her back when we were writing waec and we've been cool since then) right Godwin.

"You're kidding"

"Do I look like I am"?

"You've been single for three years,why what happened?

"Last relationship didn't work out as expected I felt like s**t, didnt see anything special in any other relationship and I realized I actually like being alone than with someone who wants to take over my entire life and I tasted what being alone felt like so why not"

"Damn"

"I know"

"So what if you find someone now you're going all in right?"

"Depends he might mess up at some point and I don't have time for that"

"This is weird considering you're very beautiful you must have rejected a lot of guys"

"Enough to remember" I made a signal to the bartender to bring another glass of vodka.

"Wow,girls like you are rare"

"I know right" I collected the glass of vodka and drank it all at once.

"Did something happen,you're going to get drunk at this rate"

"That's the point"I said. Don't know what I was feeling or better still how I was feeling but I knew I wanted to dance,so I stood up,headed towards the dance floor and started shaking my head,Godwin smiled at me,then I started shaking my hands and legs it was like it was only me and the music,and I loved it. So I kept dancing,Godwin came over to join me and we both danced for a very long time then we headed back to our sit.

"You could have mentioned you were a terrible dancer"he said

"What girl tells a stranger she's a terrible dancer,you know how we are,we are always behaving like we are special and that there is nothing new or different that we can't do"

"Girls are complicated beings"

"That's so true my brother,most nights I tell myself am going to get a . but then the next morning am like f**k it am too beautiful to be a guy"( we both laughed,the alcohol had already kicked in well enough,after I decided to have 3 more glasses of vodka,am crazy. I kind of figured that out before you though)

Anyway,now am completely wasted, Godwin and I were now sitting on one of the couch in the bar.

"So what do you do?"I asked. It was hard to see,I was casually trying to keep my eyes open,Godwin placed his legs on the couch and faced me.

"Am an architect, I work four times a week,and sure the pay is generous."

"I didn't ask for that though"

"Have heard girls fall for how much pay one gets" I laughed.

"Am hundred percent sure that isn't the type of thing that freaks me, remember have been in this game longer than you'd expect."

"The independent woman act huh,I like women like you"(although I was tired and I could hardly see a thing I assumed I had stayed in the club room longer than I usually do,so I stood up from the couch grabbed my purse and faced the young man who was now awkwardly staring at me)

" This was fun MR,but I think it's time for me to leave."

"It's only 12am, you're planning to leave so early."

"I think you have more free time than I do,I have a gig tomorrow and I deserve my beauty sleep."

"Let me take you home then, that's the least I can do."

"I think have been taught to avoid strangers"

"We've spent 4hours together, that's enough time to make us friends right?

"You wish"

(I was already wasted so it was hard for me to see,I almost hit my head on the wall when luckily Godwin tilted me around to face him. Okay this is not a melodrama bro,we are in Nigeria you don't just go around making a girl feel like she's acting a korean movie or something,he placed his hands on my shoulders as he led me out of the bar and towards my car.)

"You can't drive in this condition you know that right,hand me your car keys"

"Why should I,you might be a kidnapper who knows,I can drive on my own."

"Are you serious SHOLA,we just spent close to 4hours in a bar"

"Doesn't that sound reckless to you"

"Fine let me order a uber to drive you home"

"Okay" the uber took about 30minutes before he got to the bar.

"Hey SHOLA,what's your address".

"Ummmmmm"I mumbled

"Come on"

"No.....4....1......magodo.......unilag estate........electricity." He told the uber driver my address and placed me into the car. What guy leaves a girl alone in a uber at night to go home alone;boy we are in Nigeria don't you dare do this to me(I am still asleep anyway but am sure this was how I would have felt if I woke up the next morning knowing he did this to me) well he didn't he entered the car with me and layed my head on his laps and my remaining body on the car sit. This is definitely romantic.

On getting to my small bungalow,there was light,he paid the driver and carried me to the front door.

"Your house key SHOLA?

"Ummmmmmm"I mumbled again

"In your purse" then he looked inside the purse and brought out my house key,after opening the door he carried me in and locked the door behind him then he carried me to the bed.(please do not judge me for what am about to do) as Godwin placed me on the bed I pulled him closer and stared into his eyes.

"Have s*x with me"

"What!!!"I pulled him closer and kissed him,he quickly released but I pulled him back and sure,we had sex.(oh I said don't judge me am a 22year old girl who haven't been this close to a man for almost 8months and just look at his body,no seriously look at him and I was also right about something else he is good in bed.)
