Sienna's POV:
After Xavier came home from school, I crouched down and looked him in the eye.
I softened my voice and said to him, "Xavier, this morning was my fault. I didn't speak to you properly. I apologize to you..."
He lowered his head to change into his slippers and did not even look at me.
He only said flatly, "Oh."
I pressed my lips together, then continued, "I cut some apples into little rabbit shapes for you. Do you want to try them?"
