Apparently, when Moraine wrote this note, she was nothing like she used to be: an obedient woman who only dared to look at Trenton secretly. However, Trenton somehow had a feeling that this was what she truly was.
"I haven't touched your stuff, but I've taken all of mine. And yes, from today onwards, I'll have nothing to do with you."
Trenton raised his eyebrows as he stared at Moraine's beautiful handwriting. Then, he flipped the note and saw a crooked line of small characters on the back: "I will not forgive you for bullying Mommy like this. We will never come back. You may as well think that you never have a son."
Trenton's temples jumped fiercely. And for the first time in his life, he wanted to capture both of them back.
"When did they leave? Didn't you even notice it?" Trenton shouted.
"After you finished talking with Mrs. Moraine, she returned to her room. We heard someone crying inside, so we didn't dare to disturb." The housekeeper stepped forward tremblingly and said, "We didn't enter the room until it was almost time for Mr. Harold to have dinner. Then, we found that this object kept making a crying sound. Mrs. Moraine had already left and only took the luggage she brought here."
The butler gave Trenton a white object. Trenton's keen insight and experience as a soldier made him realize that it was a tiny piece of bone of a bird. It was carefully polished and drilled, and when the air went through, it started to make a depressing crying sound occasionally.
If this sound were used on the battlefield to interfere with the enemy, it would be a hypnotic song.
Trenton couldn't believe it was Moraine's work. A small piece of bone actually tricked an experienced butler, and she left the Brady family in half an hour without looking back.
"I've never heard Mrs. Moraine cry." Trenton glared at the butler, and the butler explained respectfully.
Trenton was surprised that Moraine had never cried even though he had ignored her for five years. He pinched the small piece of bone expressionlessly.
"Mr. Trenton, do I need to catch up with Mrs. Moraine immediately?" Rumble stepped forward and asked.
Trenton's eyes darkened. Just as he raised his hand, his phone rang.
"Patricia? Aren't you coming back in three days? You're already back? Okay, stay where you are, and don't run around." While talking, Trenton had already walked out.
"Mr. Trenton, won't you go after Mrs. Moraine? At least Mr. Harold is your son." Seeing Trenton getting into the car, the butler couldn't help but be confused. "I guess it's about to rain soon."
"Ms. Normandy has returned, and it's a coincidence that Mrs. Moraine has already left. Otherwise, we have to send Mrs. Moraine away." Rumble followed Trenton and said, "As for Mr. Harold, Mr. Trenton always stays in the army, so Mr. Harold is just the result of that night. The Brady family won't mistreat Mr. Harold, but Mr. Trenton probably will never treat him the same as the other children that Mr. Trenton might have with Ms. Normandy..."
Rumble stepped forward and said quickly. Finally, he stood still and looked at Mr. Moraz. "I know it's cruel. But from today, the Brady Family has no Mrs. Moraine or Mr. Harold. Mr. Trenton has never been a caring person."
Bulletproof Humvees and military jeeps drove away from the Brady's Residence and headed for the international airport.
Patricia was wearing a khaki windbreaker, smiling sweetly and gracefully in front of the camera like a princess.
Patricia was the beloved daughter of the Normandy family, which was well-known in the medical field. The Normandy family and the Brady family were the healer and the killer. If there were a war, Trenton would defeat all the enemies, and Patricia would heal all the companions. They seemed like a perfect match.
