The very first thing I felt when I woke up was pain, not confusion or even fear, just pain. The pain was so overwhelming that it felt like my entire body had been dragged through broken, jagged glass. A groan tore from my throat before I could stop it. I tried to open my eyes, but it hurt, even my head throbbed. My limbs were heavy, and my chest ached with every breath I took. I tried to move, and I felt something, probably a rib, c***k. The rush of pain that followed caused my eyes to finally snap open. The first thing I saw was white. Everything was white. The walls, the ceiling and even the floor were all painted white. All I could do was stare blankly at the bizarre sight as my mind struggled to catch up. “What happened?” I gasped, muttering under my breath, “Where am I, where…?"
