Chapter Ten: Allergic To Kidnapping

Lyra's POV I believe the universe has favourites And I simply wasn't on that list. After that wolf abandoned me, I knew it was just me and I had to find a way to eat and survive. I looked around and saw myself in an empty cave. "Wow, at least he had enough brains to find me shelter," I muttered to myself. I used the blanket that was wrapped around me. It smelled like that wolf and I don't know why but I kinda liked that smell. Maybe it was because I was starving but I think he smelt so divine.I loved it I left the cave and wandered through the forest with my bag of cloth and my violin in it. I was looking for some edible herbs or an animal I could kill and roast. I had already finished all the cooked meat that wolf brought me. It would have been better if I had a wolf. Now I have zero training and hunting skills. A lone tear ran down my cheeks, if only I had a wolf. I hadn't realized how deep I had gotten into the woods till I looked around and noticed ancient marks and carvings all over the trees. The trees were marked with silver claw symbols. There was an eerie silence and I just couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. "Either this forest is haunted… or everyone here has terrible social skills," I said to myself. Just then… a spear lands out of nowhere, near my foot, and then another spear lands. A deep growl resonates through the trees. I was still trying to figure out what was going on until not three but five armored guards emerge. Wait… These are not ordinary werewolves. These are the Lycan Royal guards. Instead of panicking immediately, I raised both hands. "Before we continue… does anyone know the way back? I seem to have offended your trees." One guard growls, his expression deeply unsettling. Another guard says, "Trespasser." "Actually… I prefer the term lost tourist." They clearly weren't amused. I begin backing away. "You people really need better welcome signs." I try to run even though I know it's useless without a wolf. A guard shifts and chases me while another leaps from the trees and lands on me, making me lose my balance and fall. The guard catches me and begins to drag me towards the palace. "Little warning… I'm kinda allergic to kidnapping." One guard replies coldly, "Silence." I sigh. "You should smile more, it burns fewer calories than glaring." We arrived at what seems like a dungeon. "You have crossed into the Lycean Kingdom," he said. "You are trespassing." The captain of the guards unsheathed his sword. "Take her." My smile vanished. "Take me where?" No one answered. "Right" I nodded nervously "Huh weird I guess I must have missed the giant billboard that said keep out or we'll arrest you" The two guards began dragging me yet again. "Ok, can we just agree this is an overreaction?" I shouted amidst the manhandling. "People get lost every day!" As they dragged me deeper into the kingdom, I stole glances around. Soldiers marched in perfect formation. Massive stone walls stretched towards the clouds, high rising watch towers. Everything screamed power and danger. "So…" I said casually, Is there at least food where we're going?" The guards completely ignored me. "Rude." After what felt like forever, enormous iron doors creaked open. Cold air rushed out. It was a dungeon. The smell of damp stone and rust wrapped around us like a blanket. Chains clinked softly with every breeze. Water dripped steadily from somewhere in the darkness. I swallowed hard. My confidence shrank a bit. "Wonderful.Five stars, Lovely atmosphere. Needs more windows." The guards dragged me through narrow corridors before stopping in front of a lonely cell. The heavy door screeched open. One hard shove later and I stumbled inside and landed on the cold floor. The iron door slammed shut behind her. I rubbed my sore shoulders. Then scratch, scratch, scratch. Someone was drawing. I frowned and turned towards the opposite corner of the cell. A girl sat with her back facing me, using a piece of charcoal to sketch strange symbols onto the wall. Long dark hair cascaded down her back. She looked painfully thin. I tilted my head. "So…" I began, "If you have escape plans, then I'd definitely love to subscribe to it." For several long seconds, neither of us moved. Then… the girl slowly turned around. My heart stopped for a moment. "It can't be," I whispered in shock. The girl's lips parted in shock. "…Lyra?" I was so shocked. I was looking at a face I knew from long ago but this face was supposed to be dead ***. ***. ***. *** Ronan's POV Ronan stood at the window of his room. Memories with Lyra had replayed in his mind like a broken record. He remembered how her eyes lit with excitement each time they joked around "Lyra," he whispered to the empty room, his voice rough with regret. His hand pressed against the cold glass as if he could reach her and pull her back. "I'm sorry. I'm so f*****g sorry. I was an i***t. Come back to me. I need you." The emptiness gnawed at him, a hollow ache deep in his chest that no amount of work or whiskey could fill. Without her, the world felt muted, colorless. He closed his eyes, imagining her laugh, the way her fingers would trace the lines of his face when she played with him. He wanted her back—needed her again. He had sent different troupes of soldiers to search for her.But still no news was ever brought back. The soft click of the door behind him pulled him from his thoughts. He turned slowly and there she was. Sophia. The moment Ronan looked at her, His wolf stirred, The crushing guilt in his chest dulled but didn't disappear. Just faded for the moment. Sophia stood in front of his door, shaking rain from her dark waves of hair, her silk blouse wet and clinging to the generous curves of her breasts. The fabric was nearly transparent, outlining the lace of her bra and the hardened n*****s from the cold. Her skirt hugged her hips, short enough to reveal the smooth tight thighs. Her eyes were dark and hungry, locked onto his, and for a moment everything else vanished. "Ronan," she murmured, her voice low. She stepped closer. "You look like you could use some company." He meant to tell her no. Meant to send her away and cling that still flickered somewhere deep inside. But as she closed the distance, the scent of her perfume—jasmine and something darker, sensual—wrapped around him. His body responded before his mind could catch up, heat flooding his veins. The emptiness remained,a quiet shadow but Sophia filled the immediate void with fire. He reached for her, his large hands settling on her waist, pulling her body against him. "Sophia…" The word was half-warning, half-plea, but she silenced him with her mouth, rising on her toes to claim his lips in a kiss that was anything but gentle. Her tongue teased the seam of his mouth, demanding entry, and he gave in with a low groan. She tasted like wine and sin, her body soft and yielding yet insistent as she pressed her breasts against his chest. His hands roamed, sliding down to cup the firm swell of her ass, squeezing as he deepened the kiss. She moaned into his mouth, the sound vibrating through him, stirring his c**k to full, aching hardness against her stomach. He broke the kiss only to trail his lips along her jaw, down the elegant column of her throat, nipping at the sensitive skin where her pulse fluttered wildly. "You're thinking about her again, aren't you?" Sophia whispered, her fingers working open the buttons of his shirt with practiced ease. She pushed the fabric off his shoulders, exposing the hard planes of his chest, the faint scars and defined muscle that spoke of a life lived intensely. Her nails raked lightly down his abdomen, making his muscles twitch. "But I'm here. Let me make you forget, just for tonight." Ronan didn't answer with words. Instead, he lifted her effortlessly, her legs wrapping around his waist as he carried her to the wide leather sofa near the window. The rain pattered harder against the glass, a rhythmic counterpoint to their heavy breathing. He laid her down gently but with clear intent, his body covering hers. His hands were everywhere—unbuttoning her blouse with deliberate slowness, peeling it open to reveal pale skin and black lace. He bent his head, mouth closing over one lace-covered n****e, sucking and teasing until she arched beneath him with a sharp cry. "Ronan… yes…" Sophia's hands tangled in his hair, holding him there as he lavished attention on her breasts. He tugged the bra down, freeing them fully, his tongue circling the tight buds before drawing one deep into his mouth. She writhed, her hips grinding up against the rigid length of his erection still trapped in his trousers. He took his time, savoring every gasp and shiver. His fingers traced the hem of her skirt, pushing it up inch by inch until it bunched at her waist. Beneath, she wore black panties already damp with arousal. He stroked her through the fabric, feeling her heat, the way she soaked through as he circled her c**t with his thumb. Sophia's breath hitched, her thighs parting wider in invitation. "Please," she breathed, her voice husky. "I need you inside me." Ronan shed the rest of his clothes with efficient movements, his c**k springing free—thick, veined, and throbbing with need. He hooked his fingers into her panties and slid them down her long legs, tossing them aside. For a moment, he simply looked at her: flushed skin, parted lips, the glistening pink folds of her p***y exposed and ready. The emptiness was still there, a faint echo, but it was drowned out by the pounding of his heart and the raw desire coursing through him. He positioned himself between her thighs, rubbing the head of his c**k along her slick entrance, teasing her until she whimpered and bucked against him. Then, with one smooth, powerful thrust, he buried himself to the hilt inside her tight, welcoming heat. Sophia cried out, her walls clenching around him like velvet fire. Ronan stilled for a heartbeat, savoring the sensation, the way she stretched perfectly around his girth. He began to move, slow and deep at first—long strokes that dragged against every sensitive spot inside her. Each thrust pushed a moan from her lips, her nails digging into his back, leaving red trails that only spurred him on. The pace built gradually, unhurried. He hooked one of her legs over his shoulder, changing the angle so he could drive even deeper, grinding against her c**t with every roll of his hips. Sweat slicked their bodies, the sound of skin meeting skin mingling with the rain and their ragged breaths. Sophia's breasts bounced with each thrust, and he captured one n****e again, biting down gently as his free hand slipped between them to rub tight circles over her swollen c**t. "Oh god… Ronan, I'm— I'm so close," she gasped, her head thrown back, dark hair fanned across the leather. He watched her face, the way her eyes fluttered shut in ecstasy, and something primal surged within him. His thrusts grew harder, faster, pounding into her with controlled power. The emptiness flickered again—Lyra's face flashing in his mind for a split second—but he chased it away with the wet heat gripping him, the way Sophia's body trembled beneath his. "Come for me," he growled against her ear, his voice rough with lust. "Let me feel you." She shattered with a keening cry, her p***y pulsing rhythmically around his c**k, milking him as waves of pleasure crashed through her. The sight and sensation pushed him over the edge moments later. With a guttural groan, he buried himself deep and came hard, spilling inside her in thick, hot pulses that left him shuddering. They stayed locked together for long minutes afterward, breaths slowing, bodies cooling. Ronan rested his forehead against hers. He wanted Lyra. He still felt that gnawing void. But Sophia's fingers tracing lazy patterns on his chest kept him anchored here, in the afterglow, for just a little long
