I’m fighting so hard to keep Alex back, I feel like I’m spinning, replaying it over and over again in my head. The breach, the realisation of the direction they were heading in, running to get to Lexi, protect her, make sure she was ok, smelling her scent, getting to the Lake and finding no one there, empty, just Lexi and Rachel’s scents mixed with the unknowns. The bile rising up in my throat as the panic kicked in that someone had her, someone would bring her harm, the anger boiled over that I could only see red. I will rip the head off whoever has taken Lexi against her will and I will enjoy every second of it.
