Today has been the longest day of my life, I have tried not to be possessive, I know Lexi needed this day but my whole soul aches from missing her. I’m exhausted from trying to keep Alex from shifting and going to get her and brining her home to us.
My mom and Lexi have both been texting me through the day to help try and keep Alex at bay. I’ve spent most of the day beating the crap out of my guards and letting them beat me until my muscles ache so much from the battle practise they’re on fire.
When I called Lexi I knew instantly something was off, I could sense the tone in her voice, I was seconds away from driving to her when I could feel the air calm, as if she was trying to tell me she’s ok but can’t talk.
