I walk into the forrest and head towards the Lake. I can’t blame Rachel for liking to come here, it’s one of my favourite places too, hidden in amongst the trees it’s always peaceful and calm.
I see Rachel’s body notice me but she doesn’t turn around. I sit beside her and she smiles at me
‘Hi’ she says
‘Hey. How are you?’
‘Oh, you know. How are you?’ There is a look of concern in her eyes as she asks
‘I’m doing better’ I reply honestly
‘I’m so sorry for everything. For my part in all of it. I hope you know that, I never wanted to hurt you, or see you hurt’
