CHAPTER VI: PARALLEL HARMONIES (31)
"7.1. A Raēn will swear by his divine blood, from the moment in which he is begotten, to protect, care, safeguard and defend the terrestrials from any external or pressing evil for their lives. "
"7.2 If a Raēn, takes the life of a terrestrial being, under any context, his energy will be immediately disintegrated by the Light."
The spirit of the queen of the dragons then, could understand everything. From its past to its present. She understood that these rules were just conditions; conditions that were altered by the writer herself, at her convenience. She understood that behind creation, and power, there was manipulation. There was truth control. What his teacher told him was to defend that creator of this law, who had exemplified it in his own way, at his will.
Hera understood that the conflict she had with Wezhreem was not really against him. But against Elgoneth himself. She understood that her master was only following orders. But his laws had generated a contradiction of their own, given by the evolution of his own creature that he could not foresee. They were made to love humans. They were made to be appreciated. And his father loved his mother so much, that he went beyond the creator's will to defend her, for her love. And it was at that moment, where the god went against his own regulations, only to impose an errand, on that night of tragedy in Anaís. And with it, put his master and the hanging kingdom, aside. The side against the will of her parents, her, her brothers. From the beginning of her own creation.
Hera was filled with fury and rage. And with her right hand, she tore the page out of the book, and threw it into the cauldron. Burning both laws, and some he hadn't even seen. As a symbol of her new reign. For it was promised that there would never be a division again, caused by illusory rules. She believed in expression, she believed in freedom. Dragons didn't have to defend humans for her. And likewise, if they wanted to do it above the rules, they should also have the ability to do it. The rules were very rigid; based on a reality that did not accompany earthlings. Tying up the Raen, to words that were only written for the convenience of the will of a god of illusions and perfection. A god that she now did not treasure, because for her, it was because of him, who had generated a division between the old kingdom and the new one.
The cauldron was still simmering with a bright greenish fire, rapidly evaporating and disappearing from the giant bowl of purple and divine crystals. Disintegrating the Law of the planet, since she understood perfectly that the sacred Apaxio it was in truth where what existed was born and the word became flesh and reality. As these words be disintegrated, so would the spell, so would the rule. By removing the Raen's enforced connection to humans, and allowing it to be freer, and more authentic. Without indifference, without limits, without conditions. Of her own free will, and none at all.
Hera flew out from the vicinity of Mount Geneza, and when she came out of it the temple began to collapse. She came as far as the surface, searching for her brothers.
"Did you get the crystals?" Hera exclaims.
"Here we have them all sister." Temodt exclaims.
"We still have time, only a day has passed in the land of Kepler." Hera exclaims. “But we must hurry. A Neufrat is chasing our parents! "
"A Neuphrates?" exclaims Reynavé. "But how? From where?"
"That heir to the swamps must have become one of those with the deepest roots, when the mythical kingdom of earth fell." Hera exclaims. “That beast is traveling through the northern parts at full speed! If we don't get out immediately, our parents will be a piece of cake in the expanses of the night! "
"I want to get out of here!" exclaims Temodt. "How do we get out of here?!"
Hera then, opened the Apaxio again. I search everywhere, desperate. She thought clearly, and began to search the final pages of the book. And on its last page, an image of a chalice prostrated singularly, with a drop of blue blood. An art that immediately reminded her of a moment from her youth. She knew exactly what it was about.
“Temodt catch the book! Ren holds the crystals! " Hera exclaims.
"Where are you going?!" exclaims Temodt.
"Towards the Sherdua Temple!" Hera exclaims. “Get ready! We will soon emerge from this living nightmare! "
Terror was heard in the northern highlands. An echo of incessant roars that parted the northern trees. King Neuphrates approached with his abrupt steps; getting closer and closer to the more adjacent hills. And before they could even get close to the hills of the valley, they crossed between the bushes that were already destroyed by the footsteps of the giant of earth and vehemence. Trying to dodge the deadly footsteps; trying to hide between the trees and the high ground.
“This is useless Leyra!” exclaims Argon. “He’s going to find us!”
“Then what do you propose?!” exclaims Leyra.
“We must fight!” says the man. “There is no other way!”
“Argon, if you fight with that creature you will die!” whispers Leyra. “Why can’t you understand that? Just look at him!”
“If I have to die to defend that obnoxious beast for you, it’d be the most heavenly way to die.”
“You would you die for me? For what Argon? For me to cry again? For me to lose you again?” asks Leyra. “I don´t want you to die for me. The question is, would you live for me?”
“I cannot guarantee that, but one thing I can tell you, I would try my best,” responds Argon. “I would not rest, until that beast is down. But if we do not fight, If we do not show face to the enemy, we’ll both know the end. I cannot allow that; you know it well. Your path is far more important than mine. Your soul cannot leave the fate of this world, let alone for me. If things get darker, I would have to sacrifice myself in the arms of the enemy, and you would have to run.”
“I would not run.” exclaims Leyra. “Not this time.”
“Then we have no choice. We must face the monster, together. We must face this chasing truth, together.” exclaims Argon. “If you won´t leave, I would not allow our lost. I would try my best Leyra, but we can only reach the triumph, if you fight with me.”
