Emily looked up when Amy's spoon hit the floor with the metallic clang of stainless steel on stone, and had to bite her cheek not to laugh. Ember brought to mind every "surprised" meme they had ever seen, but Emily noticed it wasn't just surprise in her best friend's eyes. Ember sobered. 'She's terrified,' Ember confirmed.
