CHAPTER SEVEN

The noise near me gets ugly as it emplify in my head, why would mom and dad invite so many people here and why does their voices sounds like teenages.

i open my eyes looking around the unfamiliar room.

it has bunker beds and am on the bottom bed that is covered in blue bed sheets to the other side is a window and it has curtains.

I search for the book but I couldn't find it. with a nervous heart and shaken up body I move myself out of the bed and stand in front of the window. the view is marvellous, their is a fish pond and the garden. people doing all kinds of jobs. I take my eyes to the door when it opened revealing my best friend Chrisha.

" hey my puppy saver."

I was about to say how happy I am but it got stuck.

"I came to check on you since I waked up early and to tell you that breakfast is ready and that you should be down before something happen, you know how Augustine is."

Augustine, and where am i. and is Chrisha acting like she just met me is this a joke.

I look at her to see if anything would give her away but nothing it's like she just met me and what puppy is she talking about I know Chrisha have always wanted to have a dog but her parents forbid her because her father is allergic to dogs fur.

" come on let's go before he get there."

I nod my head although am not thinking straight.

I follow behind her as I keep looking around it seems this is a mansion or more like boarding because I can't see any elderly people here all I see is young people walking.

and the weird thing is people look like they are scared of me like I will beat them.

we ascend multiple stares into what look like a dinning room, people are scattered everywhere eating their breakfast.

We get our food and seat at a table that looks like only the elite seat here. I look at each and everyone at the table as they eat and converse.

"Your lesson will start after breakfast so hurry up and move the field."

my heart almost ripped out of my chest as I look at the man who just spoke and is none other than Mr Augustine.

I look him up and down, he is wearing leather pants and a long sleeved shirt with what look like a wand tucked in his waist band.

" it seems someone can't take their eyes off someone."

I look at a man who is not familiar with me but I can see most people here are very familiar but some I don't know them and it seems like they don't remember who they are who I am. i look lost and confused.

" you think someone like her can give a compliment to someone."

Augustine say Making

the all table bust out laughing like he said something funny. what am I missing here.

" they don't remember you as Emma from high school they remember you as the sassy, uncaring person who hates Augustine to the core."

"oh so now you talk and why are you my head."

I was so confused I almost felt unwanted.

" because here we are one and outside we are two a human and book."

oh that does make sense.

"so make some sassy reply to keep your reputation."

I hate this why does everyone think that, this ugly world.

I snap my gaze to him and give him fake angry stare but he wouldn't know that.

"I can compliment if I see something good but staring at you right now all I see is ..ah ..a Baboon."

I give him my sweetest smile and I swear I say his eyes move to my lips and lick his before looking away.

"you two will never stop fighting, anyway Emma you are training with me today if that is ok with you."

I nod my head to the unfamiliar guy who give me a puzzled look .

" let me guess you don't remember my name do you "

I sheepishly smile at him and he shakes his head.

" you think she will remember your name bro tsk tsk she can't even remember when she last had friends."

no I do I mean they don't remember me who am I kidding since childhood I only have one friend and that Chrisha.

" ok enough.....my name is Alex sweetie pie and next to me is Augustine in case you don't remember his name and right by your hip is Chrisha my girlfriend and the rest are bunch of baboons don't care about them."

oh I know all of them, I keep my emotions in check and straighten up as if the fact that they don't remember doesn't hurt.

"remember don't give them a clue that you know them."

"so am I the only one who could hear you."

I say back in my mind.

"yes only you can talk to me and only if you find the guy I told you about, he will also be able to talk to me just like you."

" so what do I do give them a nasty reply Everytime they speak to me rudely or it just my character here in MUKULU KINGDOM."

"yeah something like that, everyone here knows you are stone hearted and have never open up to anyone."

I again look at everyone around here. I finish my breakfast the same time Alex does.

We walk to the field where we find another sets of people.

So this is MUKULU KINGDOM huh, well I guess this is home.

I brace myself for what ever this new chapter of my life is going to be and welcome it with open arms as I stretch in the field and relax as the cool air blows my face and hair like it is welcoming me.

"welcome home the chosen one"

the book say in my head as a smile appear on my lips.
