CHAPTER EIGHT

I sit on the ground to prep myself for what I will be doing with Alex.

The book says since am the chosen one I have more power to channel through me, so I do a little bit of yoga and get up.

"are you ready Emma."

Alex ask,

am not sure am ready but I can feel it in my bones that am ready. but their is something that I don't understand.

"hey book, are they practicing good magic or dark magic."

oh no he can't be silence, please say something.

"we left something when we were telling you the story about the past."

what.

"what do you mean you left something is it dangerous or what please tell me I thought we said no more secrets."

I almost stomp my feet on the ground due to the anger that is boiling in my bones and blood how could they.

"it was hard for both your parents to remember, they left something so precious here."

" well tell me, what did they left here."

even a three seconds silence can make your fear crawl at your inside.

"your father has a sister her name is Teresa, unfortunately she didn't make it to the boarder like your father and mother did instead she stayed the king married her."

wow so much for no secrets, at least they could have told me about her.

"am very angry at you and my parents."

I focus more on what Alex Is teaching about basic stuff, we do more training and before we know it. it is lunch time.

"Emma, Augustine wants to talk to you."

Alex tell me as he and Chrisha prepares to leave.

" can't you guys wait for me."

I say to them as Augustine approach us

"you know I don't bite right."

Augustine say, I ignore him as I give Alex and Chrisha my puppy eyes.

"no can do sweetie pie I can't miss my lunch, and that puppy eyes really looked cute on you maybe you should try it more often or on him he might consider be nice to you."

Alex say and Chrisha away as she waves at me.

"so what do you want ."

I look up at him, it seems it's just as in the field everyone have gone to eat lunch and as for me am far from angry I need to speak to my parents but where are they.

"I don't want to take much of your time, it has already been six months since you came here and everyone here has something to do in the morning except for you, so am taking you to the palace tomorrow to assign you with a job that you will be doing."

Wait the palace, the book say my aunt got married to the king does that mean I will find her there.

"did you hear anything I just said Emma."

his voice comes a little bit annoyed and I feel like smiling.

"yes I heard everything, but do I have to do the work every morning or what?"

he look at me like he wants to say more but he changes his mind.

"no you will be going only two days in a week."

thank God.

"shall we go now and eat."

I look at him and he staring at me, he moves away and mumble something to himself that sounded like ' how can someone be this beautiful and annoying at the same time.'

"bastard."

I say equally in a whisper and I follow him.

Everything about MUKULU KINGDOM is enchanting, the sky is purple at night and the stars look like each have a galaxy of their own.

I have learn a lot today not by me asking of course they will think am mad or something.

my father has a sister and her name is Teresa she is older than father. and my mother has a brother his name is Andrew and he has twins, Lotus and Jared.

The mansion is built on the east side of the kingdom and everyone who turns eighteen in this kingdom will come here to train and know more about magic they don't allow people who practice dark here. all those who practice dark magic have their own mansion on the other side of kingdom creating barrier. so if you see practicing dark magic here you will be taken there.

The only reason the king accepted pure magic is because the queen requested it in return she gives the king a child.

if you ask me, nothing feels right. I have cousins that I don't know of all in the name separating and now everyone thinks am cold hearted because I don't have a boyfriend or a friend the only people I get along are my cousins whom I have never met or heard of and now they are telling me am good friends with them and my best doesn't know me here and the guy I like thinks am annoying. peaceful.

"you look like you might strangle anyone any moment."

I look up to see Alex and Chrisha sitting next to me on the log near the bonfire.

I give them a little smile and look ahead.

"I feel strange not that I explain it to anyone. I just feel .....lost."

I say, it true I feel like am just knowing my parents now and this time I have never known them.

"you know if you need someone to talk to we are here for you, we don't want you to be this distant and alone."

Chrisha say Making me look at her. I look away before the tears that I have been holding In comes out. I look around me searching for something even I don't know what am searching for but I just keep on looking until my land on Augustine who is with guy she facing Augustine so I can't see her but it looks like they know each other with way he smiling.

"ugh!!, I wonder when will that she devil ever leaves him alone."

Chrisha say making me more curious about who the girl is.

" You know Naomi has a crush on Augustine, so she takes every chance she gets to be with Augustine."

Alex say.

I feel a chill run down my spine not a good chill but that chill that says yoo it bad.

"you mean Naomi Vampels."

I ask, dreading even the answer.

"yep the one and only."

I feel like a bucket of ice has just been thrown at me, why me.
