Luna trusted Liam and Drake, and even though she didn't really need them by her side in order to defeat Hades, she wanted them by her side. Her only friends were the Gods, but they never had a real friendship because those Gods looked up to her. As a superior, not a friend.
Liam and Drake weren't like that.
They both knew her real identity. Even if she wasn't a Goddess, Luna was still their Alpha. Yet none of them were afraid of her, and none treated her like a superior.
They were respectful and listened to her, but they also had their own opinions and weren't afraid to share them.
They shared their feelings with Luna. They shared their opinions with her. They asked for advice, and they gave advice to Luna. They were joking with her.
