Luna POV
Today we have sealed the last portal, and after a long year, we can return home now.
We were in a cabin found in the woods, taking a deserved break from everything. Liam was trying to start a fire while Drake left to gather wood. It had been a while since he left, and his absence began to worry me.
"Liam, can you look for Drake? See what's taking him so long?"
"Yeah, sure. I'm done with the fire anyway."
The surrounding energy gave me a dark feeling. Like something was wrong.
I shouldn't have sent Liam alone. Now I am feeling even more agitated.
This is not a good sign. I felt the rush to my blood, and my heart started to hurt. An immense pain took over me, and I fell to my knees.
The pain tore me apart, and I felt as if a part of me had died.
