Nicholas had been wearing a smug grin ever since the corporate jet had lifted off. He was going to Eugene, Oregon, to find Olivia and bring her back to the Dark Moon Pack, where she would be his and his alone. Nothing and no one could stop him.
He looked around the cabin at the preparations that his new Beta, Marcus, had made. He had done well, and if Marcus helped him locate Olivia, he might even become Beta permanently. As long as Marcus did not betray him in the same way as Jacob, everything would be fine.
