Zane’s heart pounds hard with every rushed step he takes toward the cell. Astrid knows, she knows where his kids are and she lied to his face. He walks briskly and flings the cell gates open and walks down the pathway leading to the last cell.
He doesn't flinch from the stench of the cells, he has a goal, to get the location from Astrid. His face tightens in a deep frown and his eyes hold back the slight annoyance he feels.
