Astrid winces as light invades her eyes. She quickly closes them and deeply inhales trying to sense her surroundings using her smell. Her nose quivers as she picks up strange scents she hasn't perceived before, her heart suddenly racing fast and she snaps her eyes open, not minding the pain that sears her head from the blinding lights.
