The next morning, Astrid lays in bed, staring at the dangling chandelier above her, feeling like souless wraith, a zombie, sad, dejected and desolate, wondering where her kids might be, how they are, if they are well taken care of. She has never been apart from them for this long and the pain of the separation is chewing deep into her heart, leaving anguish and despair in its wake. She doesn’t know what to do or who she can turn to for help. She already informed Marlon via text of the latest development last night in hopes that he will speed up his plan and perhaps come and offer her some comfort for this deep pain and sadness that she feels. Her children are her everything, her best friends, her companion, her gossip partners, her motivation, her life and Zane is punishing her unjustly
