CHAPTER 6
Les returned to the dairy. He saw the lights were on at Jed and Marissa’s new house. He decided to go over and talk to Jed. He walked in the open front door and looked around. It was looking really good. There was a lot of work done in a short amount of time. Everyone had pitched in to help. They were all happy for Jed and wanted him and Marissa to be happy.
“Hi,” said Jed coming in from another room and spotting Les.
“Hi, this is really looking great,” said Les.
Jed looked around proudly. “Yes, it is. Just a few more days and I can bring my bride home,” said Jed.
“I’m happy for both of you,” said Les smiling at Jed. Jed glanced over at him.
“You just back from the farm?” he asked.
“Yeah, I wanted to talk to you about something,” agreed Les.
