Sage and Mia stayed wrapped up in their own world for a few days, getting to know each other more. They laughed and joked around, spending their waking hours constantly at each other’s side. Sage started to love Mia more than he thought he would the more time he spent with her. He got to learn what made her laugh, and what irritated her. He had tried so hard not to let her in, and the closer she got to him the more he wondered why. She was an amazing and beautiful woman, everything he had ever wanted.
Sage knew he needed a few days to get his strength back and being with Mia made it that much better once he had opened himself up to the possibility of them being together. They hadn't heard from anyone besides a few calls from Grier just checking in on Sage and they appreciated the alone
