12 Sage sat in his office with his head between his hands. He was struggling emotionally after the phone call he had had with Laura’s parents. As he had thought, Laura had not returned from Afghanistan after the bombing nor had they heard of any other news about her. For her family, she had died and that was it, case closed. Sage found it extremely unfair how someone could claim to be someone who wasn’t alive. Causing people to remember the pain of losing them in the process was just cruel.
