I stood there, trying to process the torrent of revelations Eldrin had unleashed. My gaze darted briefly to Azriel, who seemed nonchalant, his eyebrow slightly raised as if he had expected my reaction. But my focus quickly returned to Eldrin. They had known all of this, these hidden truths, and yet they had waited until now to reveal them to me.
